Cygnet Hot Pot (渔佬烤鱼)

They have a great selection of choices for their AYCE hotpot. It includes some deep fried dishes and desserts which I don't see often at other AYCE hotpot restaurants. The dessert is surprisingly quite good and not too sweet. I would also recommend trying their skewers. They were tender and flavourful. Wanted to check out this local place and I was really surprised at how clean and new this place was. The tea was also very flavourful. Usually restaurants skimp on the tea and give you tea water. A special shout out to the waitress who provided excellent service. She was genuinely nice to us.The food, while pricier, was delicious. I had the smaller hot pot and it was SPICY, even at medium. The skewers were delicious! Soft and juicy inside, crunchy on the outside. The lamb skewer, chicken knee and pork kidney were amazing, I'd say it's better than a few Chinese bbq skewer places in Vancouver/Burnaby. The garlic scallops were very garlic, loved it.
