“We had the prime rib dinner. It was delicious and served in a timely manner. Our only complaint was being sat in a corner with our backs to the rest of the restaurant. Having said that, we were facing outside with a great view but it felt weird to have my back to everyone and everything.“

“A very nice friendly local pub with very good hard working good hearted caring loving loyal cheerful friendly staff like Tarun and Amanda who are always glad to serve their customers at any time with big smiles on their faces and very good tasting delicious super yummy food and 100% good customer service. Live jazz music every Thursday night and Sunday night karaoke with the 1 and only Milo and the pub manager Todd looks like a member of the legendry British rock band the Beatles. “What can I say, I visited with friends from out of town. Staff were as always amazing, filling drink orders and taking our orders with smiles and pushing the specials. The food was great and price was good. The place was buzzing and ready for Friday night music. People were lined up as we left to get in. Thank you Waverly and your amazing staff our guests were impressed with the service.“

“We went for lunch after a military event. Staff were wonderful, patio was lovely and the food was delicious. I had the Brie which was amazing. Close to the base (CFB Comox) so very convenient for us. Have been before and will go back again. Good portion sizes and decently priced. We all felt very welcomed to be there, even though we showed up a little before they even opened.“

“Great food! The service was terrible tho..we had a 630 reservation on a Tuesday night and didn’t get food till after 8! They had two servers and a bartender on staff and it was pretty busy. They needed more staff and had us wait so long so the “kitchen wasn’t overwhelmed” we were told by the bartender! We have been regulars for a few years and may try once more but if the service is that bad again I won’t be giving them my business anymore ..the food and atmosphere are always great!“
