“Stopped in on our way home to Nanaimo from Victoria. Very cool little ice cream truck in the parking lot near the Thrifty Foods. We had a couple of sundaes. The Strawberry one was very good, but the Black Forest one was amazing. The ice cream is vegan but you would never know. It didn’t have a strong coconut flavour which I do not care for. The prices were reasonable, comparable to other home made ice cream shops. There is a nice shaded seating area and you would never know you are in a parking lot. We will be back when passing though.“
“Not what I was expecting but BETTER!!!! This place was amazing and the cafe was modern, bright, cute and spacious !! They have plant based mills which was the main thing I was seeking out. And many different syrups too. My latte was amazing!!! They have a full staff so ordering was quick and my coffee came out pretty fast too for having a lot of people. I recommend if you are in the area! They have a cute side shop in the store too with cute mugs and powders to buy etc.“

“My 2 little ones and I just came in here. The man working (presumably the owner) was extremely friendly and sweet to my to my son and daughter. The ice cream from (Foothills Creamery. est 1969) is unbelievably good. I can’t recall having had better ice cream in recent memory and my daughter agrees (son didn’t want any). An overall great experience.“
“We had part of our daughter's birthday celebrations at Duncan DQ. The team went above and beyond, served us 10 meals that were hot and all correct, they decorated the cake (on the spot) and served it with candles and all staff joined in singing HBD. Overall an amazing experience by the whole crew. Thank you. Will definitely recommend and be back.“
