“This is a Filipino restaurant that I want to see succeed. The reason is because of their standards. Yes, the decor of the dining area needs to be more presentable but this is one of the best Filipino restaurant in the Lower Mainland. There is no pre-made food being shown on order with the exception of packaged food (Filipino breadand hopia). The dining food is ACTUALLY prepared on order in the kitchen. Compared to other Filipino restaurants, this is a decent place to Dine in. They serve with plates and NOT paper plates like the restaurants in Guildford and Fleetwood. “I ordered the whole lechon for my son's birthday over the weekend, and from the start of the conversation with details of the order and delivery, was very professional. Very kind, and very friendly. I didn't know what to expect when it came since i havent ordered from them and just saw their ads on IG and fb and im glad i tried it. The lechon whole was more than enough for my party and everyone loved it. Said the taste was great, not salty at all and of course i had to first taste the skin and see if their ad was correct of how crispy it was and sure enough it was crispy and delicious. “This restaurent really reminded me of home! They serve authentic Filipino dishes. The place haveimited seats and I find it a bit cramped but that adds to the charm of the whole place. The staff were nice and accommodating. I got their Pinapaitang Kambing (goat stew) and Liempo (pork). Wanted to order their bagnet (fried pork belly) but they said their frier wasn't working at that time. Will definitely be back to try their bagnet! ?“

“I've been to this restaurant over the years and I've never been disappointed. The food is definitely worth the wait as they don't take reservations. I've tasted pretty much all the silogs on the menu, but my go to is the Combo 1 of the lechon and the corn beef silog with a side of biya. This weekend I went twice, yesterday and today). They recognized me and I was welcomed and immediately felt at home. I listened all around me to the other patrons while I sat at the counter enjoying my brunch. Everyone was being treated with kindness and familiarity. This is how a family restaurant should run. Each time I looked at the entrance, there was a line up. This, the food, and the atmosphere are reasons I will continue to come back. Well, full disclosure, they did make me something special (not on the menu) and because of this, I stand behind my 5 star rating of this hidden gem of a restaurant. As a Filipino foodie, I've been burned and disappointed by other Filipino restaurants. I don't think my standards are so high so as to be easily turned off. So other restaurant owners, take note of this restaurant. They have the formula down. My favorites are the crispy pata (specialty deep fried pork hock), pork skewers, any of their rice bowl combinations, beef pares (tender beef on rice) served with soup, pancit (noodle dish), sisig and lumpia (spring rolls).The service is super friendly, fast and everything is reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. I try visit here weekly as it's that addictive! I takeout as well as eat in. In terms of leftover crispy pata the air fryer works great! I continue to spread the word about Happag because it's that great! I even came here for my birthday! My dad also loves all the food here especially the crispy pata! Yum! Bit pricey but I guess you pay for the quality.The seating was quite uncomfortable as it had tears and tape on it but all okay apart from that.Nice business ran by good people. Great community here.“

“Tried their sinigang na bangus and crispy pata and both were very good and very tasty. Their are so many items on their menu and was overwhelm on what to order. We got to ask them their house specialty on our next visit. Portion was very large which is reflected on the price per order which is on the high side so it is best to share with a company to get the best value for your money. The lady server was very friendly and welcoming.“
“Yummy fries and friendly service. It usually takes about 7-10 minutes to get your order because they make each batch when ordered.Parking: There is some street parking out front but not a lot. You can find more along the side streets but you may have to park farther away. There is also a small paid lot as well.“
