Pork sisig and grilled milk fish were incredibly fragrant and delicious, and fried pork hock was juicy but couldn’t taste any coconut milk or peanut butter in the beef kare kare (beef in stew was also very fatty and overall stew was very bland). I wouldn’t mind trying other dishes on the menu if I ever visit again, just need to remember to avoid the kare kare“

“Kuy’s Lechon was sooo good! Then crunchy lechon lasted for a long time during the party. The flavour was unbelievable! It wasn’t just on the skin it was through the fat and meat of lechon. “I ordered crispy kare-kare and my wife settled for seafood pasta. The serving although we ordered solo, can feed two people. I would say that I loved the crispy kare-kare and my wife was happy with her pasta. The owner and other staff are so warm and you can feel Filipino vibes as soon as you enter the restaurant (we went to Kingsway branch). Keep it up!“

(Dont get me started with the ferry woes am i right? 😅) I devoured their Silog-All-You-Can and boy oh boy, i was full and ultimately satisfied: the daing and lechon kawali were crispy as they should, the tocino and longganisa were sweet & tasty, the eggs & sinangag were cooked to perfection! Food is one thing and customer service is another, these two, for me, go together (its a must!) that said, Shout out to JULES, APPLE & ANNA whom I had a pleasure of meeting! “Stopped in to try empanadas, tried each flavour (pork/beef/chicken) and all are fantastic. Soft, flaky crust, generously filled, and well seasoned.

Also tried a couple impulse buys, a cookie and some hopia buko pandan, which were also good. Mostly recommend those empanadas though. Friendly staff too.“
