“Such a great historical place. So glad we stopped here on the way to Salmo and Creston. Chicken Salad and burger were delicious and balsamic homemade dressing was amazing. Service and staff very good. Friendly and quick, definitely recommend stopping!”

“Very quiet. Very friendly. New beds. Slept well! Wife was down for emergency surgery in Trail and being low income farm workers we couldnt afford an expensive fancy motel for me to get some after two days no sleep. Surgery went well but wife had to spend another night in recovery. The motel is older style yes but the price was worth every penny. Two nights and i am rested. Thanks to nice management! Great coffee too! Would stay again if needed.”

The pizza is amazing and a great place to have a glass of wine or an ice cream on a hot day. Love that it’s near the kids park. Our daughter can grab an ice cream and we walk to gyro to play. It’s perfect!”

“Stopped in for a beer and to get out of the heat. Never expected to find such a cool lounge in Trail. With the wood paneling, cosy tables and exquisite stain glass I thought we stepped back in time to a 1920's jazz club.It was quiet when we stopped in, and the manager was friendly and chatted with us for a bit. A surprising and refreshing find. I would to stop in again and try one of their cocktails, they all looked yummy.”

“The serving was huge, I ordered the dinner roll (salad, spaghetti, meatballs, chicken, potatoes and a bread). The food was great especially the meatballs were tasty, the salad and the bread were okay. Also I ordered one of the Italian soda which is so good (ordered the passionfruit flavour but was not available so I changed it to raspberry). The servers are very friendly as well.”

“Worst customer service in a restaurant that I have ever received. My family found this restaurant just a few months back. We have visited quite frequently as we all love Chinese food. The wonton soup is the best I have ever had. we always eat-in and spend at least $100 every single visit. After last night's visit, we will not be returning. We always order the same items, last night the ginger beef was so overcooked it was not edible. When the server asked how everything was we told her about the ginger beef. The owner Amy then came over and told us "that's how we do it". In the last few months I have eaten this dish about 8 times, and I told Amy I have ordered this dish everytime and this is not how it comes out. Amy then told me if I wanted to chew it, I have to tell them when I order it, I said well of course I want to be able to chew my food. We debated back and forth for a few minutes about how she wasn't going to take the dish back and refund our bill for the item. She then said ok let me go talk to the cook, which is her husband. She came back and said " No, we will not do anything as the cook said "that's how he cooks it." We have never complained about any item before this happened. I was absolutely shocked about how they handled this. Very unprofessional. They lost very good customers over something that could have been settled very easily.”

“PROS: Outstanding Caesar Salad, though not conventional. All in our party of four thoroughly impressed with food. One said best BLT EVER (crispy lettuce, ripe tomato, perfect bacon, fresh bread). Friendly, attentive service. Clean, well-maintained restrooms. Very reasonably priced.

BOTTOMLINE: Don’t let the relatively nondescript exterior and entry door fool you. This place is a hidden gem!!! I recommend without hesitation. If I lived in Trail I’d dine here at least weekly. Note that most negative Google reviews are years old, so it's safe to ignore them now. Ownership/management has obviously turned things around.”

“My husband and I went here for lunch and really enjoyed it! I had a paradise mojito and my husband liked the big beer selection. We shared nachos and the toppings were fresh, the chips were crispy and delicious and the salsa it came with was really flavorful. We had great service too! We're from Edmonton but we'll definitely come back the next time we're in town.”

It's a chain-restaurant, never been to a Pizza-Pizza before, will probably order from here or another location when away from my hometown local fave.”
