We were at Tantalus for a private event on July 8. It was absolutely wonderful. Not only was the scenery and the wine awesome but the staff was exceptional. They were so friendly and always there to make sure our glasses were topped up. There was a caterer brought in, Terry Port from Elite Chef Events and the food was insane!! Just a wonderful night enhanced by the beauty of the winery and staff. Thank you so much for everything!
Absolutely amazing place. Views are stunning. Wine is amazing (I enjoyed the Riesling). Plus the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Our car would not start, and multiple staff members did whatever they could to help us out. I would highly recommend!
If you’re visiting Tantalus Winery, ask for Helene. She has an incredible depth of knowledge without being pretentious. What impressed me most is her ability to tailor the experience to every guest. Some wineries you go to the “script”is the same for every table, but she was able to answer questions and engage our table with genuine insights about the wines. Tantalus Vineyards offers a lively atmosphere, often filled with groups, and knowledgeable wine tasting hosts. The wines are tasty and reasonably priced. The beautiful tasting room features indigenous art and has a great view on clear days, with a spectacular view, especially during Fall. The staff are passionate, engaging, and humorous, making for a fantastic wine tasting experience. They are also very accommodating, allowing toddlers and dogs. Reservations are recommended, and sustainability is a key focus for the winery, with good wines and friendly staff. The patio is beautiful with east Kelowna views. The tasting room and surrounding views are absolutely stunning. The host was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the wines and the vineyard’s story.
