“The staff here are so kind.The man running the drive through Sept 27th at 7:20pm was an absolute gem.Yes they get busy, yes they can be a bit slow to get you through the drive thru but they always do their absolute best.I feel lucky we have a late night ice cream spot in town :)“

“My boyfriend and I moved to Glenmore a year ago, and it was instantly date night spot. We have tried everything on the menu and everything is 10/10 delicious. We moved to the complete opposite side of Kelowna and still drive across the city once a week because, we just can’t get enough ! We talk about this place every day. Plus everyone who works here is so so friendly. Our go to meal every time is the DB flatbread, the brisket Mac and cheese, and sometimes the pretzel cheese dip or Perogies. Super affordable, our bill is never more than $65 (amazing in this city) We are a little sad recently as they changed the DB recipe. Don’t know if we will be coming back as often now because of this because we stick to what we really like. The flavours of the old DB was a lot better in our opinion. But we will still rave about this place to others ! (You should bring the old one back though haha)“

“I always thought the only fix for a bad day was an unhealthy amount of ice cream to drowned the pain in diabetes. Turns out exceptional customer service is just as effective in brightening your day.I need to apologize because I forgot his name, the assistant manager here, I believe it was Isaiah? (Will update accordingly) this man needs to be running this place by the time I come back.I walked up to the counter broken hearted and beaten by a rough day and when he asked how it was going, I thought for moment and said “awful, that’s why I’m here.” He smiled and said that I’ve come to the right place and he couldn’t have been more correct! I placed my usual order and thought to myself “I need more”. Now, the custom order I was about to place, I’ve tried to place in the past to no avail, employees “weren’t allowed”. Now, I was never asking for mountains to be moved, just a little combination of two magical items…let’s call it, The Split-Fection. Isaiah smiled and said, “yeah man, I can do that….what if we add (secret step)” and had to take pause, not only did he not hesitate to create this delicious custom order but he even thought of a way to make it better! This right here, this is true customer service.Within a minute, my order was ready to go and I happily sunk into a seat ready to wash away my sadness. But I realized, this simple interaction with such an outstanding employee already made me feel better and the ice cream, as amazing as it was, was no longer needed to make me smile…but I ate every bite regardless because it was pure art!So DQ, you keep this man or board and see that he’s well looked after, he’s a dying breed of people that still care about their job and knows what to actually offer the customer for a truly good experience.“
