“I have ordered from this place constantly for the past year and a half and I have been trying different things on their menu each time. I have never once been disappointed in the quality, presentation, or taste that the food they preset offers. My wife is Japanese and hasn’t had proper Japanese made food from home in over 2 years and she loves this place and describes the feel of the food like “home”. The price compared to other places is great as the portion size relative to the cost is very much worth it. If you haven’t eaten here before I HIGHLY recommend it“

“My boyfriend and I just finished our brunch date. It was one of the best brunches we have ever had. The portion sizes, flavours, and customer service were outstanding. “This is our must go to restaurant when we visit Victoria via boat for 30 years. First-year there I ordered the BlackBerry halibut and every year since then I order it and it's still my favorite cooked perfect, it's hard to make halibut moist like butter. My husband loves the olive tapenade they serve with their focaccia bread and will get an extra bowl to pour on his pasta. Best cheese cake too. Great culture, attention to detail, they even use copper water pitchers, the water is great.“

I had the ’Smoked Tofu Muffaletta sandwich’ which was very tasty and savoury & the classic mimosa which was easily the best I've ever had.

The staff makes you feel welcome and important as well the ambiance of the place.

Since I didn't have Much Time to visit Victoria, I needed a place to brunch nearby downtown Victoria and this place was suggested by chatgpt for their vegan options.

“A friend and I just dined here for the 1st time and we both were blown away. The renovation of the interior is beautiful and the service was impeccable. We were treated to the owners daughter that kept checking in on us and had a great conversation and heard some background of the development of this new idea from the owners as we have always been fans of Sizzling Tandoori.
We ordered 4 dishes to share and they were all incredible. My personal favorites was the gnocchi dish and the torkhi chaat dish???? we will definitely be back and highly recommend trying this place out!

I’m not sure if she was the owner but you can tell she knew her stuff. She accommodated all of our requests and made awesome recommendations. The restaurant was inviting, and had nice water and fire features. The food was top notch, and came out quickly. Before they opened for dinner, we had seen people wait outside of the restaurant to get in once they opened, which is always a good sign anywhere you go. “Decided to try the lunch deal because they were close to my work. Incredibly friendly staff, accommodated me when I was having card troubles one day. Delicious pizza always fresh. 6.99 for 2 very large slices by todays standards and that includes a drink. Would pay 10 just for the quality of the experience. Young man that works there every day during lunch hour is one of the nicest people I’ve come across since moving back to island. Please support this business!“
