I enjoy a “mary monday” $5 for a huge sandwich is a great deal. It’s always enjoyable.
But this location makes me feel unwelcome. Multiple of our friends have commented about it too. If you do not speak the language of the workers they make you feel unwelcome and like you are a bother. When someone speaking their language arrives the smiles and warmth felt is very different!
I tried to learn a bit out of kindness, but was not well received. IDK!?

My husband and i were out for a walk and stopped by to pick up a bite. There was no one in there. Very quiet. I asked the girl for two breast pieces to go. Waited and paid for my chicken. Came home only to discover that they gave me a wing and a back. Which has barely no chicken on it. Very disappointed. I guess you need to check before you leave the store. They couldn’t even get my order right with no one in the store. I emailed the store about this and not even a response....read full review
polite, hard working staff
Mary Brown's Chicken offers a delightful dining experience with its tasty chicken, potato wedges, and friendly staff. The restaurant boasts a clean and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great choice for both families and individuals. Customers consistently praise the exceptional service and quality of the food, ensuring a satisfying visit.
The restaurant is known for its rich, thick, and dark gravy, which customers have described as a signature item. However, one location in Maple Ridge has been noted to serve a watered-down version, disappointing some regular customers. The restaurant has a variety of wing flavors, including a popular "Swicy" option that combines sweet and spicy elements.
Customers have highlighted the cleanliness of the restaurant, including the washrooms, and the friendly and attentive service provided by the staff. The tenders have been particularly praised as a must-try item, with the chef, Soni, being recognized for his kind and exceptional customer service.
