Mediterranean Restaurants in Nanaimo

“I ordered my favourite dish chicken souvlaki recently at Zougl's. Portion size was good, chicken was cooked perfectly. What was lacking was flavour! Not enough seasoning and no lemon flavour. Greek potatoes are usually cooked with lemons. The rice was bland as well. I was so disapointed. I like Zougla's because of the decor, the location, the staff and in the past the food. At these new prices I expected better. Keep up the good work but please improve the chicken souvlaki.
We went back to Zougla's for dinner this week. I ordered the Chicken Zougla this time. It was awesome. Lemony potatoes, flavourful sauce on the chicken. My husband had the Lamb Shank and was very pleased with his meal. Our friend who is Celiac had steak. Even though there is no GF menu my friend has never had a reaction to Zougla's food.
