Made the trip over from Alberta and stopped in Sunday morning right after they opened, no line yet which was a nice surprise. Got the brisket plate and it was smoky and tender enough that my husband stopped talking for a solid five minutes, which never happens. The guy at the counter walked us through the menu since we had no clue what half the sides were, and he didn't rush us at all even though we asked a ton of questions. I always get their fried chicken and its always made fresh and I love their coleslaw and bbq sauce which they serve it in. Great flavour and always made to order which I like. Ive been coming here many times over the years.

Re Up BBQ is a versatile BBQ dining place that looks like a hole in the wall and can go hidden among the market. The selection of dishes covers different meats and amazing sides like poutine. The brisket is super tender, way better than Rib Fest, and the fried chicken is hot and juicy. Ribs are great, and the biscuit is really soft and moist—probably one of the best biscuits ever. The beans have a bit of kick, and the coleslaw is good, fresh not over mayoed. The wait for fresh food is not too long, with a portable buzzer that lights up. Staff are friendly, and prices are not too high, though service can be a bit slow. The place doesn't look like much, but food tastes real good. One order had a forgotten part, but they went above and beyond with customer service to make it right.
