“I just had my first taste of the baking from this fine establishment. Wow! It is hard to find rich tasting melt-in-your-mouth gluten free cookies - and these are fabulous. Any cookie lover, gluten intolerant or not, would love them. I bought an assortment and am working m way through them. Yes, the coconut ones are amazing - and the almond - and the chickpea flour, and on and on.
I might also add that these tasty things are also very reasonably priced.
The folks here are also very helpful, friendly, and clearly great at what they do. Thank you!“

“I have been here a several times over the years and it never disappoints!
The breads are the best, when i work on the North Shore i always go and pick up bread to bring back home (sometimes it doesn't always make it home lol). Traffic jams means i eat half my bread 😆 while i crawl over the bridges. I am trying to learn leave it in the back and or buy more 😁

“We had a family birthday lunch to attend and I was tasked with trying to hunt down a Pavlova cake for the birthday person's birthday cake. We had enjoyed a wonderful 2 tiered Pavlova cake earlier in the year for my birthday dinner. Everyone had enjoyed it so much, and so I got tasked with hunting down a Pavlova cake because "You seem to know all the places that have them” is what I was told!The person who did my 2 tiered Pavlova cake wasn't able to take our order this time as we needed it for a Sunday and she is away at a Farmers Market on Sundays. So...with the help of Google, I found a Facebook page for Liffey Foods (later discovered that she’s also on Instagram), with some beautiful pictures of Pavlova cakes and Pavlova roulade. (Basically a log shaped Pavlova) The lady who runs Liffey foods offered two different sizes of Pavlova Roulade, a small and a large. I decided to order the large Pavlova Roulade.Liffey Foods is definitely a hidden gem! The Pavlova Roulade was a big hit. It was decorated with a combination of strawberries, blueberries and fresh mint leaves both on top the cake, and inside as well. Such a lovely balance of flavors and the presentation was stunning. It was truly the piece de resistance of the meal!Service: Good

“Vegan Brown Rice Flax Bread!!! Because of many allergies I cant find any orher bread I can eat! Its good too. Toasted is best but I've even microwaved it for 30 seconds to eat soft squishy bread. I really hope this bread never disappears. THANKYOU!“

“I visited a specialty grocery store in Portland and purchased a whole-grain bread called Sangak, made by Saman Bakery. It was so delicious that I went back and bought all they had! If possible please sell your breads in larger stores, like Walmart too. Thank you!“

•Bubble Tea 5/5: tried many Milk Tea flavors (Watermelon, Mango, Taro, Strawberry, Papaya), top favorites are Honeydew, and Mango; they taste exactly like you’d hope! They’re refreshing, taste real (yes, that unfortunately needs to be said…), the right amount of sweetness, cup isn’t full of ice, and a fair amount of boba. They aren’t cheap ($7+ each), but that’s on-par for bubble tea!“

A little gem hidden in a really nice small grocer which also stocks pretty much everything you could need otherwise. “It's a lovely shop though it can be hard to find seats at times. Very popular, they have a laptop study room almost near the back. There's also outside seating when its not too cold. I stop here every time I'm in North Van.“

But if a competitor has the same product substantially less it's disappointing, I'm talking tinned or packaged food..charge more for your quality goods but match the average stuff then not so well off folks will still come in the store and buy the better stuff as a treat.
At the moment they are afraid of yourg regular goods prices.

Such a huge selection of amazing looking treats. I wish I could try everything!! The gift box that the lady made for me was so perfect, and it was only $14 for a full box. “They do a decent job. Never screwed up an order. Although no one seems to know how to spread cream cheese on a bagel anymore as they just squeeze it so half the cheese is bursting out of the bagel hole (not just this tims). Staff are friendly.“
