“This is our first time to order from Kuy’s, a whole pig lechon. Firstly, they were right on time as agreed for delivery and then we took the lechon an hour and a half away to an event and everybody enjoyed it immensely. I got to say that it is one of the best lechon I have ever had. Perfectly crispy skin with just right amount of fat in every bite. The meat had good fat and was juicy and well seasoned. Thank you Kuy’s, we will definitely be ordering from you again.“

I would say that I loved the crispy kare-kare and my wife was happy with her pasta. Impeccable taste. When you walk in, don’t expect fancy decor or flashy presentation—this place is all about the basics done right. Fresh tofu is made right in front of you, and it’s worth the 10–15 minute wait. Great to stroll the neighborhood while it’s being prepared. Simple, authentic, and consistently excellent. Always my go-to spot for fresh tofu!“

“had an amazing experience at Kabayan Cafe! The atmosphere is super cozy and Instagrammable — perfect for hanging out with friends or just relaxing with a good drink.

Their bubble tea is the best in New Westminster — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly sweet! I also tried their croffles and kakanin, and wow, what a treat! The Filipino desserts reminded me of home, especially the halo-halo, which was so refreshing.

They now serve hot steamed buns (Siopao) and shaken teas, which are must-tries! You can really taste the love in their food and drinks. 💕

The staff are friendly, warm, and always greet you with a smile. Whether you're Filipino or not, Kabayan Cafe makes everyone feel welcome.

(Dont get me started with the ferry woes am i right? 😅) I devoured their Silog-All-You-Can and boy oh boy, i was full and ultimately satisfied: the daing and lechon kawali were crispy as they should, the tocino and longganisa were sweet & tasty, the eggs & sinangag were cooked to perfection! Food is one thing and customer service is another, these two, for me, go together (its a must!) that said, Shout out to JULES, APPLE & ANNA whom I had a pleasure of meeting! “The premium Ube cake is the way to go! It deserves a spot being one of the wonders of the world. It is light, fluffy, airy, and full of flavour. It’s like biting into a cloud of bliss! Also tried the Ube chiffon cake but it was mainly a buttercream tasting cake which is not as good as the premium Ube cake but still good. The cakes are well decorated and a beautiful purple color. Would buy again :)“
