“I got takeout today (Aug. 27) and the food was PERFECT!!!! People rave about Ramen Danbo, but that place is mediocre at best.

I bought the creamy chicken black ramen for $16 (I tipped), which I THINK is the tonkatsu black ramen and it tasted SO DIVINE. I’ve been to Japan and all I ate there was ramen and I think this is the closest authentic Japanese ramen I’ve ever had. Noodles was perfect, broth, and chashu. I can’t believe this place is in a food court. I’d definitely get more takeout here.

They don’t take AMEX, which is fine. The service was incredibly friendly. Just the same service I used to get in Japan.

Not the place’s fault, but I was getting catcalled and there were few weirdos around because of the location (downtown East Hastings). Won’t stop me from buying here though!! Can’t wait.“

“It is an amazing place to have various types of foods and drinks (non alcoholic) covering most parts of the world. Chinese, Japanese, Indian, western and many other countries of food are available. Nice place to hangout with friends and family. Easy access.“

I especially loved how they added a generous amount of vegetables to my noodles — that’s a big plus for me. “Super popular spot for cheap and delicious chinese food! Highly recommend to avoid rush hours/popular lunch time as the tables are full everywhere... We had to search and search, expect to share table with strangers, but that's normal. The Hainanese chicken rice place and the Shanghai dim sum place were gooooood! The juicy pork buns (pan fried) is worth the wait if they are running late on the orders (as they sell faster than they make it non stop already)! I wish I lived close by, I would definitively come back often! Prices are fair, no fancy dining, just good food, what I like.“

It was quite fast despite being really busy. I prefer takeout from here as the seating for the food court is usually packed.

This time tried the chicken nuggets + rice set meal this came with veggies ,egg and tofu for $14. Chicken is always really fresh , hot and crispy.
Like most stalls it is cash only ( or wechat/ alipay I think ). Sometimes they also have offers / coupons through Fantuan app even for pickup.“

“This is an awesome place to be for fast and tastiest food . I was there with a friend yesterday who introduced me to this and today I woke up , got ready to get another box for my second day. With the food, the lady who attends to you is very nice as well. While you wait for the food , she offered me a hot chai tea and a snack to taste. Great service with a smile . #supportsmallBusiness . “Pretty good food considering it's a food court. Quite a bit of selections.. from Vietnamese to Japanese to Korean to Indian and a sandwich place too.

It can get busy here, so come at 11:45am to beat the rush!

Tried the pho for the first taste, and it's decent sized for $15.50. Will definitely try other restaurants next time.“

“Food is delicious. Ordered the house special fish noodle soup. Really enjoyed the noodle and the ingredients(veggies,tofu,fish). It’s a very hearty & healthy meal, one I would appreciate eating daily.

“It is actually good value to order half a Hainanese chicken combo, including oil white rice and a broth on the side. It is big enough for 2 people. I will definitely come back.
Their service is fast. At lunch rush, Empire Centre food court is a busy place. So, even the vendor prepares your food fast, you may still need to be patient to locate a table.“

“The burger bun was crispy and savory, the pork cooked and seasoned to perfection and the biang biang noodles came in the most delicious spicy sauce! Will definitely come back to try the rest of their menu, although it’s not too easy to order in English. Well worth the visit!“

“Hubby saw a series in Mikey Chan’s Strictly Dumplings on Youtube. So we checked it out, located in Presidential Plaza 2nd Floor food court. The food court is small, we ordered takeout. Line was long but it moves pretty fast. Their pork hock was their specialty and they had freshly prepackaged to go meal in a container. It was that fast & efficient.
The pork hock was tender & very flavourful, for $15, it was a steal. It came with rice drenched in that wonderful dark piggy sauce, a braised egg, sautéed potatoes strips & glass noodles & pickled marinated green long beans. The pickled green long beans paired very nicely with the dish. The portion was so big that it was a 2 meal deal for us. Highly recommend… !

Bourbon St. Grill is def your go-to place for tasty freshly made food fr fr. Right in middle of PR Food Court, go for Big Combo Meal with 2 meats + 1 veg. Combo meals also come with seasoned fried rice or noodles.

Seeeriously heaping portions totally fill your plate. Personal faves include bourbon pork + bourbon chicken (grilled w/ sweet BBQ sauce), and blackened chicken (cajun BBQ style). Honey mustard chicken is also pretty tasty ngl.
