“The main Kazba restaurant at 16th st. Serves better food. I believe they bring the rice from main restaurant at 16th st to Capilano mall branch. The rice was not the quality that I was expected. Chicken kebab was great and koobideh was good too. The person at bar was very friendly and he did his best.“
“This is an awesome place to be for fast and tastiest food . I was there with a friend yesterday who introduced me to this and today I woke up , got ready to get another box for my second day. With the food, the lady who attends to you is very nice as well. While you wait for the food , she offered me a hot chai tea and a snack to taste. Great service with a smile . #supportsmallBusiness . “Found this place randomly while walking through International Village on a rainy day.This by far some of the best ramen I have ever had. And its in a food court...Suuuper tasty broth. I got the Tantan Ramen with extra noodles and garlic.The noodles were freaking great!I highly recommend! Amd I will for sure be back and bringing peeps!“
“CLOUD 9 DELICACY (Richmond)so this place had 4.6 stars on google! I HAD to try it!!! A hole in the wall joint with above average ratings!!!Unfortunately it does not live up to its 4.6 stars. Maybe 4.0 stars at the most!So firstly, when you arrive, they have like 50+ items on the menu. When I tried to order, they told me that today I could only order from the Chefs Special menu which had maybe 8 items on it. UGH! Thankfully the popcorn chicken on rice was on my radar...The portion was MASSIVE! Definitely a win for best value. BUT is it the best Taiwanese popcorn fried chicken? Nope. CHJ Bistro beats it in terms of quality and taste.Will I come back here again? Hmmmm maybe just to try another dish, but definitely not a place I would frequent.“
“I visited Steve’s Poke Bar at the Brentwood mall this afternoon after hearing rave reviews on social media. The young man, Giuliano, who served me was not only polite and friendly but also provided exceptional service with a bright smile. His attention to detail and positive attitude made the experience truly delightful. I opted for white rice, ponzu sauce, 2 scoops of Salmon, Edamame beans, cucumbers, mango, green onions, topped with sesame seeds and green seaweed seasoning. Giuliano's outstanding service and the delicious meal made me feel truly welcomed and appreciated. His dedication to providing a great experience is commendable, and we need more individuals like him in the service industry. I happily tipped him 15% for going above and beyond in his role.“
“Recently stopped by for a quick meal and I was pleasantly surprised how delicious the chicken teriyaki dish was. The gyozas and dipping sauce were a nice add on. Definitely recommend!Vegetarian options: Fresh tofu vegetarian teriyaki rice or noodle dish“
“??One dish of Hainanese chicken rice: the meat is tender and the skin is smooth, but there is no chicken flavor. The green onion and ginger paste have a heavy onion flavor and a light ginger flavor. I prefer the strong ginger flavor. The garlic flavor is stronger when dipped in water, which is not my thing, but The chicken oil rice is salty enough and is quite suitable. The soup should be peppered pork belly. It has a strong peppery flavor and I like it very much. Comprehensive cost-effective recommendation“
“Decent place for healthy-ish food. Taste is good. However use of seed oils(especially peanut oil) is unacceptable when they market themselves as health food store. I know healthier oils like olive, avocado, coconut are more expensive, but customers are paying high prices and deserve good ingredients. Otherwise there wouldn't be much difference between them and something like Chipotle, other than the healthy marketing.Service, ambience was exceptional, no complaints there. I would have given lower rating if not for this.I am giving 4/5 only because they market as health food store and would upgrade to 5/5 if they use better oils.EDIT: i asked in store after comment below and they said they used sunflower oil. Would be nice to have details of oils on website.“
