Wai Heung is our go-to spot for decent, middle of the road, western Chinese food.Never blows my mind, but also never disappoints. For out here on the Saanich Peninsula, I'm not sure what can be found that's better.Is it that "western" Chinese food that we're all familiar with? Yes. But its a pretty good iteration of the type. The family running the place are friendly, polite and don't seem to cut corners or portion sizes on the food. We appreciate that.Not open Mondays. No delivery....read full review
We had the dinner for 4. Great portion sizes - enough for a little leftover lunch the next day. Enjoyed the fried rice and chow mein. The chicken balls were delish. If you're in the area, I'd recommend Wai Heung. I look forward to ordering from them again.
Take-out only, due to staff shortages, but it doesn't diminish the good quality of their food or friendly service.Parking: There is wheelchair parking, but the entry is tight into restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Entry-level is tight to pick up food, especially if there's a line-up. Tight corners.
