Both broths were so flavorful (I’m obsessed with the spicy broth!) They have a wide variety of fresh ingredients to customize your soup & sauces. The whole experience is unique & we will definitely be back for more!“

“Jack's Chinese Restaurant is by far the best Chinese restaurant in town.
We're relative newcomers to Victoria and have been to numerous Chinese restaurants in search of something close to the taste and quality of what we experienced regularly in Edmonton.
The presentation, portions and flavour brought me back to the family dinners of my childhood in Vancouver and I wouldn't hesitate to bring my parents here.

The staff here are also super friendly and always willing to provide a great service to their guests the owner she is also very nice and welcomes her guess with open arms. “Been here quite a few times already and always had a good experience. Food comes out hot, portions are solid, and the place itself feels clean and relaxed. Usually I get takeout and it’s always been quick and convenient for me.

I really like their rice, curry, and noodle dishes. Simple, filling, and consistently good every time I’ve been here.

The location is also super convenient with lots of parking nearby, so it’s easy to stop by without dealing with downtown parking problems. Staff have always been friendly and service has been fast.

“Four of us gals shared a dinner for four $73.00 so that’s less than $20.00 each! The portions were generous and the food was hot and just kept coming until the table was filled with plates! We started with a very hot spring roll that was a pleasant surprise as it was crunchy inside with crunchy carrot slivers, instead of the often soggy interiors. The dinner for 4 included sweet and sour pork which was delicious and tender, deep fried prawns, and again very tender and plenty to share, then a noodle chow mein and a vegetable and chicken dish followed by a giant plate of excellent fried rice. It was all hot and flavourful and there was ample food for 4 of us. It looks like it’s a mom and pop shop and both were friendly and funny. The service was quick and everything very fresh.
Two of us added a Chinese beer that brought our totals up but it was a warm day and worth it! Good choice if you are in Sydney looking for a reasonably priced meal. There were plenty of other dishes on the menu plus we were offered fresh spot prawns for about $30.00. Mmmm Sorry, I forgot to take photos but it was typical Chinese but plenty of it!“

“Oldie but goodie place that offers simple western food and chinese food. We went here for Chinese food and it didn't fail. We're asian and we're happy that they have the needed condiments on the table. I asked for the chili and she happily provided. We went at 11:45am and all tables were occupied for lunch. Servings were big at a lesser price. Worth the walk from Tillicum Centre.
