“It's certainly not the best Chinese food, perhaps not even in Anacortes--I can't be sure--but I would be lying to say I don't have a soft spot for these types of places. Nothing is ever quite as it seems, which is part of the charm, and if you don't see that as a charm then why did you go to a place called Lucky Chopsticks anyways? Everything was a little over salted (perhaps adjusted for local taste who knows), but the staff were just wonderful and gave us a list of all the things to do around the area. 3.5 stars for the food plus an extra 0.5 for the staff.“
“I hate to start off this review by saying that we went to Manchu because Carver's couldn't seat us. (Short on staff) It was not a bad alternative. In fact, it was a great trade-off! We are from Oklahoma, so we don't frequent this area. We were delighted that Manchu took the casino food vouchers we were given. We chose to share a 3 Entree plate. On this day, we were able to pick Orange Chicken, Broccoli and Beef, and Go-Chu-Jang Chicken. Our server was so accommodating. She offered to give us a half order of rice, and a half order of noodles when she realized we were sharing. I'm telling you, this food is good!“
“Delicious teriyaki & sushi. Was rushed for the ferry and hostess, sushi chef, and kitchen staff were able to accommodate a speedy order. Hostess even offered water while waiting. Smelled magical on drive over. Waited until we were on the ferry to enjoy. Great portions and seasoning. Teriyaki was not too sweet and not too salty. Gotta go back when in Anacortes. “The KONG is great! This is the place we go to meet up with friends to wind down, watch the game, shoot pool, and hang. The soups are really good! Their signature soup is HUGE! In fact, I'm about to order it to go right now. Lol! They have a happy hour menu that hits the spot, a full bar, OH! And if you have a sweet tooth...their fried ice cream is AWESOME! Don't forget your fortune cookie!“
“LET ME TELL YOU! Those meat pies slap! I at them in seconds. I was able to call ahead and order everything that I wanted. I got the dumplings, fried noodles, and meat pies. Everything was good. But those meat pies were EVERYTHING. I'm drooling thinking about them?“
