I took a friend here whom I had not seen in a while. I was blown away. The food is some of the best I ever had. The seafood chowder is a solid 10 out of 10. My friend had the tuna and said it was some of the best she ever had. The room is nice with great views of the lake. We watched an otter swim by. The service is also excellent and the server was very pleasant and professional. And they have some excellent scotch. I will definitely be going back.
Our server was amazing. The food was tasty but expensive.The wine is very overpriced for sure. We likely won't go back as it's just not affordable. The cost of groceries has gone up for sure but these prices are a couple buck higher than most.

What a fantastic gem located in Shawnigan Lake. This restaurant is worth the drive from Victoria to eat at!It is hard to see from the road, but once you park, the experience begins! They have a large parking area, which is really helpful. You then walk down a few stairs (or can access with a walker / wheelchair via a small road beside the stairs).
