“Be careful when using the drive through. You cannot navigate safely if you have a trailer, or you are a larger/longer vehicle. You would scratch your trailer against the pillar or building.It's a small space, went to it multiple times. Sometimes you would wait over 20 minutes for your order. A standard simple order, mcdoubles, but for some reason takes a really long time to prepare. Happened many times. I usually catch a meal before the ferry. Have to remind myself that this McDonald's can at times be extremely tardy

Parking: Parking is tight in front of McDonald's if you have a truck. I tend to park in front of the liquor store or dollar store and then walk to McDonald's.“

“I found this place while waiting in a ferry line with 2 sailing waits to the mainland. We had lunch and roamed the facility we came across so many things that were right up our alley , kayaking , tours , and a nice place to eat. They even have a boat launch. We decided to extend our stay , got out of the line up , got a VRBO, and explored.Best decision for us we had a great time. The staff at the marina took care of so well, better than BC ferries could. What a Great stay. I would recommend this place to all.“

“Yesterday we stopped by for a later lunch. Everything was excellent. Our server was exceptional and very well trained. Our food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed our meal. We ordered the fish and chip special. They were large portions and cooked to perfection. Excellent value for the price.
We have noted that since the new manager/owner? took over this location has really been fantastic. He is excellent and has a great staff.“

“I came here with a group of geocachers after our Spogomi. This is a Japanese term which means the sport of picking up trash. We picked up 35 kg of trash and 1 lb of cigarette butts in less than 1 hour. McDonald's was gracious enough to allow us to put their garbage in their bins. Lots of fun.“
