“The perfect place to have breakfast.The food is delicious, the Bennys are great.The French toast is awesome.The place is small and cozy.We had to wait a little to get a table but it was worth it.A little expensive but again is worth it.Service is good and kind but it could improve.Totally recommended.“
“The Floathouse Restaurant (FR), which, as its name denotes, is literally on the water in Ucluelet’s alluring marina.April is the month it reopens after a long close over the colder months, as is the custom with a good number of Ukee eateries. “Locals and visitors. Excellent food. Most genuinely friendly people. I hardly ever write reviews but Frankie's deserves one. The best burger and fries I have had for years. They do not cheap out with the bacon. Burger patty was f'ing delicious.and the fries.. so excellent. I'm starting to salivate as I think about it. Person next to me had clam chowder..It looked amazing and I could tell he was loving it. I'm going again before I return from my vacation. Worth every penny.“
“I had a fantastic 2 nights at this campground, and felt very safe and taken care of as a solo traveler! David immediately made sure I had a less exposed spot when I was checking in than the one I booked initially, and all the staff (pets included) were super friendly and relaxed.The vibes are fantastic and so comfortable and fun - there was live music the night I arrived enjoyed by people and families of all ages and even many visitors not staying in the camp, clean showers and toilets, fantastic poke, and a very charming semi-indoor and outdoor seating area by a fire pit. And very charming surfery vibes! I also love the shop carrying art and products by local artists and makers.I got to chat with David on my way out and learned a bit about the future plans for this campground, how he makes all the surfboards himself, and am so impressed with how much he's built in just 3 years. After such a smooth and enjoyable and personal experience, this is definitely a classic and my first choice to camp at whenever I'm in the area.Thanks for the incredible stay, you'll definitely see me again soon!“
