Bon Ton Pastry & Confectionery is a beloved destination for sweet treats. Their pastries and baked goods are consistently delicious, with standouts like the diplomat cake and Christmas Yule log. The petit fours cookies are also a hit. Although they are temporarily closed, fans are eagerly awaiting their reopening at a new location on Alma. The new space features bright, modern decor mixed with nostalgic wall hangings, but it is smaller than the previous location, with a pared-down selection of baked goods and pastries.

The iconic Diplomat Cake remains available, known for its flaky pastry, rum-infused sponge cake, smooth buttercream, and powdered sugar finish. However, prices have increased significantly. Some customers noted that the chocolate éclairs had familiar French custard, but there were issues with presentation and custard quantity in one of the éclairs. Additionally, the Pain de Mecque is no longer on display and must be preordered.

While some customers are excited to return for special occasions, others feel that the offerings are fewer, and the atmosphere has become more sterile compared to the previous Bon Ton. There is a growing concern about quality, especially regarding certain Philippine Pastries that did not meet long-time customers' expectations. The shop currently accepts only cash or debit.
