Staff are friendly or polite at the least. The onigiri is quite tasty here but not cheap par se. However, be wary of the sushi trays, they're pretty stale when I did try them. I'll stick to the other next time.
This is a small but really interesting convenience store in the UBC Bookstore! It's a great place to grab a quick but tasty lunch or snack: they have a great selection of fresh food from local stores which includes sandwiches from Pequish, sushi from Nikkyu, vegan cookies from Panela Lemon, Chinese baked goods from Pine House, and more. Great staff and service, especially from the 25ish year old women. One very happy and the other aggressively friendly. Most items in the store are way over-priced (isn’t everything kind of nowadays)? A bit more and better selection of food would be nice. Though- the Chinese hot dog bun is a nice choice to have.
