Good food and timely service. Deluckshan is a very good server with a bright personality. Always provides timely updates on food and serves with a great attitude with a smile. Please visit the restaurant at Kingsway Location and Deluckshan will always be the good presenter for his work.
I attended NYE karaoke held by Dosa’s. I live 90 min outside DT Vancouver, and arranged my NYE with a friend and my 12 y.o. as there were not many other places to go that were not 19+. We enjoyed our food, which was half price (except red meat & sea food) after 8pm. We bought about $100 in food and drinks in the 2 hrs we were there. We had our drinks refilled once, and were assisted by no less than 4 servers, making ordering, getting refills or acquiring our bill exceptionally...read full review
Seeing the stories of others who also fall victim to crypto investment scam tears me out badly. I remembered when I was in that same situation it wasn't really easy for me, but I was lucky enough to find my way to Helen Stamford who was so patient with me to explain all that happened and immediately she swing into action and recovered my lost funds to me. Located on Davie Street, House of Dosas offers a cool atmosphere with throwback upbeat desi songs, though some find the music very loud. The food is absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavors. Popular menu items include ghee roast dosa’s, biryani, chicken curry, MeduVada, Podi Idli, filter coffee, veggie utthapam, and veg fried rice. The chef even came out to chat and gave complimentary pineapple kesari. The Chennai Style Lamb is rich, bold, and full of flavor, while the Mixed Vegetables Uthappam is excellent. The medu vadas are crispy and not oily, with authentic chutneys. Mysore masala and podi dosa also taste good. Service is really friendly, excellent, attentive, and efficient. One server in particular is very attentive and hospitable, making guests feel welcome. Happy hour prices for beer and dosa are available, with dosas for $5.99 on Mondays. The restaurant is open 24 hours, making it a great option for night owls. It is definitely one of the favorite spots for Indian food in downtown Vancouver.
