Momo Factory is a versatile Nepali restaurant in Downtown Vancouver with an exciting menu of Indian, Nepalese, and Chinese inspired food. The jhol momos are delicious and really indulgent, and the chilli garlic noodles were genuinely very delicious. The Schezuan Chowmein (Egg) tasted great but the texture was soggy. Chilli Momos had amazing filling, best served steamed or fried without the chilli. Kung Pao Chicken had great taste with a nice addition of cashews. The lamb momos steamed were yummy with great sauce, and the chili chicken was Nepali style, flavourful. The Szechuan fried rice had tasty crispy noodles. Vegan options like Sandhe ko momo (steamed momo drenched in a spicy, onion based dressing) and veggie kurkure are delicious. Lollipop Chicken, Piro-Piro Chicken Masala with Naan, and Manchurian Chicken are all delicious and far from 'factory' food. The food is excellent, characterful, and very tasty. One server was warm and welcoming, and another staff member was extremely helpful with allergy information. However, service can be inconsistent, with some staff ignoring customers and being unhelpful. Meals are delivered by a robot, which adds no value to the experience. Despite the cold, metallic exterior, the food is good and worth trying.
