Awesome veggie samosas - definitely grab a bunch for take out. Always hot and fresh fried. Excellent value. Add the tamarind sauce 👌
Don’t expect much for customer service. It’s the same dude running the shop each time. But the samosas are 💯
I was in town for the World Cup with some friends and wanted to eat somewhere close to my hotel, so I tried New Bhaia Sweet Shop & Restaurant and I'm so glad I did!!!. I had the samosas, veggie burger, and mango lassi, and everything was really good. My friends ordered pakora, chicken biryani, butter chicken, and naan, and they loved their food too. The portions were satisfying, the food was fresh and flavourful, and it was a great spot for a quick, comforting meal. Definitely...read full review

Based on the reviews, New Bhaia Sweet Shop and Restaurant is known for having some of the best samosas in Vancouver. The menu includes veggie samosas, as well as special Butter Chicken and Shahi Paneer samosas that are absolutely delightful and genuinely unbeatable for the price. The veggie samosas are described as extra good, freshly fried, flavourful, and generously filled, especially with a bit of chutney. The food is good-tasting, with very good sauces and a very vegetarian taste. The restaurant also offers other fried foods, entrees, and sweets that look very tempting, plus free wifi and a lot of Indian confectionery and nuts. It is located near bus stops at Fraser St & 41st Ave. One criticism is that the service from the man who runs the place can be unfriendly. Despite this, the food is good enough for a quick snack, and the veggie samosa and milk cake are good value at $1.50 each.
