Best Singapore Laksa and Mee Siam in the city.
Absolutely fantastic food! I’m definitely hooked on this place and eat here at least once a month. The food quality is superb and the owners are very friendly and make you feel like family.
There are so many authentic, tasty options to choose from you can never just have the same thing every time. Try it all!

Shiok Singaporean Cuisine is a Vancouver-based eatery that serves authentic Singaporean dishes. The restaurant offers a wide variety of choices, including mee siam, prawn mee, fried chicken, satay, curry chicken, and more. Reviewers praise the generous portions and flavorful dishes, with many mentioning that the food tastes very authentic. The flavors are tangy, spicy, and rich with traditional ingredients like pandan and coconut, making the experience truly shiok. The restaurant's take-out packaging, wrapped in brown paper, is a nod to traditional Singaporean practice. It is also appreciated as a great place for meetings, thanks to its soft music and calm atmosphere.
Customers recommend the nasi leak and hainanese chicken rice, while the prawn noodles soup and roti pasta are considered weaker dishes. The roti is described as incredible and crispy, with the curry having a perfect spice level and an incredible taste. The skewers are hot and flavorful, and the seafood laksa is praised for its fresh and tender prawns. The owners, who are from Singapore, are attentive, quickly providing a paper hand towel to a customer who needed it. Overall, Shiok Singaporean Cuisine is a great find for those craving authentic Singaporean cuisine on the West Coast.
