Great spot for sushi and ramen! We had the signature pork ramen, the broth was a bit salty, but the pork was tender and delicious. The crab and salmon rolls were also really good, especially with the cream cheese on top. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and we'd definitely come back👍🏻
Atlantic signature roll is amazing, Asahi and Saporro beer in the menu
Extremely friendly staff! Although one of the pieces of our sashimi is with a bit of stains, they immediately apologized and gave us another fresh sashimi platter as a replacement.
P.S. they don't stare at you when you tip, which is hard to come by these days.

Tentatsu Japanese Sushi Restaurant, a beloved East Vancouver gem for 30 years, has recently seen renovations and a change in ownership. The refreshed and brighter restaurant continues to offer a mix of old and new menu items, including the popular Tonkotsu ramen and unique Tonkatsu, while also featuring various specialty rolls. Friendly and attentive servers provide good service, and the staff are known for being super friendly. While prices have increased and some rolls are a bit smaller than before, lunch specials remain available before 3pm. The menu includes a variety of dishes such as sashimi, udon, and combos, along with good drink specials that feature skewer snacks. This local spot on East Hastings offers decent food and accepts credit card payments, with metered parking available nearby. Although some reviews note that service can be slow during busy times and the ambiance could be improved, many customers still enjoy the tasty food and appreciate the large dining space. Recent favorites include the ocean roll, which is flavorful but can be mushy, and the spicy salmon sashimi, which has good cut sizes but could use more sauce.
