Tropika Reviews
Good experience
I ate rice noodles, chicken curry, and naan. Both were very delicious.
The person in charge of the table at the restaurant was also a nice person.
Honestly I feel like the current rating on Google doesn’t not reflect the food. The food was really tasty and filling, if you’re looking for Malaysian or SEA style dishes this is an amazing spot. My one gripe was the service, our server was great but he was the only one working there… so trying to get something took a bit longer that I’d like.
Tropika is a restaurant with a historic name that has been a staple for years. The food is fresh and authentic, offering a variety of Malaysian and Southeast Asian dishes. Some classic favorites include Beef and Lamb Satays, Lamb curry, and popular options like roti and curry rendang. The menu is extensive, featuring dishes like the pineapple fried rice and Singapore fried vermicelli. Although the prices, such as a $21 green beans dish, may be seen as high, the food remains tasty and filling. The service has been mixed, with quick service from a friendly waiter, but some customers have noted that it can be slow when the restaurant is not busy. The ambiance is a little darker, but the food is consistently good, making it a recommended spot for those seeking authentic Malaysian flavors.
