Ithaka Greek Restaurant offers outstanding service and a lovely atmosphere, making guests feel like they are stepping into Greece. The food, including the calamari and moussaka, was delicious. The restaurant really makes you feel like you have been transported to Greece. The furnishings were very unique and the white decor was very relaxing. Vegetarian options are available, with a variety of salads and appetizers. The Greek salad and chicken souvlaki have been described as perfect and delicious. The staff is accommodating and patient, making it a great place for families with kids. The service was excellent. Nice portions, solid fare and avgolemono soup is delicious. Quick and attentive service gets you in and eating quickly, great after a day of exploring. Food is outstanding. Appetizers were spectacular, both the eye and even more to the palate. The Three Dips dish, which came with Tzatziki, Houmous, and a Fetta with Roasted Red Peppers, served with small triangles of delicious pitta bread, was just excellent. The Chicken Souvlaki, served on rice pilaf, roasted potatoes and roasted root vegetables, was out of this world. The ambiance is certainly identical to any good restaurant in the Greek islands and mainland.
