Ruth & Dean - Luncheonette & Bakery is a great little place with big beautiful windows. The delicious muffins and cakes are a highlight, although some wish the cake had real buttercream instead of the light fluffy icing. The chicken noodle soup could be improved with more flavor and warmth. The staff is known for being really nice, making the experience pleasant. Regulars appreciate the friendly servers who have come to know their preferences. The restaurant is kid-friendly with magnetic alphabets for kids to play with. Despite a credit card issue, the staff handled it well, showing excellent customer service.
