Our team had a wonderful gathering at the Songhees Wellness Centre! From the initial inquiry to after the event, the support from their events team has been excellent. The in-house catering was delicious, a reasonable price, and the team skillfully navigated the number of dietary needs of our attendees. The tour begins at the Canada sign near the Visitor Information Center, where guests meet their guide, often recognized by her red shirt and cedar hat. The tour includes an informative session about the Lekwungen people and their territories, highlighting the changes since European arrival in the 1850s. Participants learn how to paddle, receive safety briefings, and are guided across the harbour to significant sites like Laurel Point. The experience is enhanced by the kindness and storytelling abilities of the guides, making everyone feel special.
