I just moved to Whyomilth from East Vancouver (I learned the word Esquimalt was used when british colonials landed and couldn't pronounce Whyomith lol ). I have passed by the Songhees Wellness Centre a few times with curiosity. The building and space is extraordinary. The perfect place to hold your next conference- the food that was prepared for our conference was out of this world - the atmosphere of the center is calm and peaceful - the hospitality of the Songhees Nation was better than any 5-star hotel- I highly recommend this Center for your next conference in Victoria

The guides are generous with their time and with their stories. I was so moved by their willingness to share their personal relationship with their culture and this place. As someone who is increasingly interested in history, it was a fascinating tour. But anyone who just loves to learn and be in a beautiful place will enjoy!
