“Seriously the best tofu scramble I’ve ever had; just the right amount of spice. Hardest part was walking past all the delicious donuts,scones and baked goods to order breakfast first. We got some sweet treats to go. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They made special pancakes for the 2 yr old we were traveling with. I would eat there every day if I could. Will definitely go back next time we are in Victoria. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-22“

“This is the best Authentic Japanese in Victoria hands down. Haven’t had such a wonderful set since being in Japan! I have been two nights in a row.

The Sabayaki and Chicken Katsu sets were perfectly executed and each of the sides are made expertly. Delicious!

The customer service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is comforting. They take pride in their restaurant, make food with love and serve with care 😊“

“Super delicious vegan restaurant with lots of different options! I got way too much food and everything was delicious. The poutine was probably my favorite vegan poutine I've had! I really enjoyed the tacos as well - I find a lot of vegan taco 'meat' ends up being overly salty but that was not the case here! I don't live in Canada but if I did I would definitely eat here all the time :) it was fast, convenient and tasty! I also found the prices to be extremely reasonable coming from the states, it seems in general vegan food is cheaper in Canada, so jealous!“

“I shall have to come back and try it again, it was very good. I had the Takoyaki Appetizer, deep fried octopus balls and for the main course Black Arashi Tan Tan - Black sesame base with pork belly, egg, spinach, bamboo shoots, crushed peanuts, chili oil, garlic, green onion and nori seaweed.“

“So, this was a take a picture before I ate fail; I even forgot to take a picture of my empty tray. But thankfully, there were some very kind people at Wheelies who allowed me to take a shot of another sandwich before it went out to the customer who ordered it.

I had their special and it was delicious. A masterfully creative play on a Big Mac (my inference - apologies if I got that wrong). It was supremely satisfying and a flavour explosion. So many things on their menu look absolutely outstanding. I can't wait to go back and work my way through it, and also their cocktails menu.

I'm gonna give a special mention to Working Culture who pointed me in the direction of Wheelies. They were on my to patronise list for today as I continued my search for amazing sandwiches, but alas, they were out. I'll pre-order next time.

“Fantastic, cozy little cafe! It's a little bit hidden behind the apartments, but it's a lovely environment and as far as I know, family-owned.

Prices are reasonable, lattes are extremely comforting like a warm hug. I've only had their iluka buns but they did not disappoint.

If you're in the area, I highly recommend them! Support local!“

We all loved the food and menu recommendations from the owner. Thank you for a lovely evening out. The food isn't super quick to the table, but hey, this is fresh cooked and it's not simple white spot food. So relax and enjoy the experience. Pretend you are in Thailand.“

“Went in for dinner on a recommendation from a friend. OH MY. We went in thinking it would just be another dinner spot - we were so wrong. From when you first enter & you smell the fresh herbs to when you sit down around the table on super comfortable chairs/couches. WOW. The staff were attentive, personal and yet not in your zone too much. Helpful with advice on the food and menu. 10/10. The food was on another planet. We had three dishes in total - one appy and two mains. Cooked perfectly, extremely fresh flavours and large portions. The naan bread… just wow. Delish! Will be coming back and telling everyone about this. They deserve a line out the door.“

Of course the biscuits were exceptional and perfectly cut and toasted. I had the egg and bacon Sammy and added tomatoes and avocado. Perfect!!! Group of 6 all raved! A diverse, spread on a theme, and I'm not a gravy fan and it too was delicious. The special steak had homemade dips and stuff, and the vege was it was incredibly complex and yummy looking. I WILL BE BACK!!! The baked goods looked fantastic, but I'm so full!“

“This has been one of the best Greek restaurants we’ve ever been to. From the food to the service it was amazing and done right! Would 100% recommend! We had the keftedes, moussaka, lamb shank, and ekmek and they were to die for! We ate everything off the plate, and our serve Dimitri was just the best!“

Congee was amazing! Not what you’d expect from a Chinese congee and in the best way. Americano was super smooth without the over-roasted bitterness of some better known coffee brands. I was on the island for a visit and will be back at my next opportunity.“

You are welcomed and served in a really friendly manner, the food is delicious, and per the photo the chai tea is not just a tea bag in a cup but an authentic chai they make in-house. Yum! Tibetan Kitchen is a great place for a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable lunch or dinner.“
