“I was pleased with my visit to Thaigo in the Park Royal shopping center. I ordered tom yam, it was light, not spicy, lots of vegetables and shrimp. I needed a little heat and some coconut milk or cream. But overall the soup was good.

I also liked that this place has an open kitchen and it doesn’t look like fast food at all. The soup was prepared right in front of me. The kitchen is clean and the cook seemed very neat.“

Had the boneless secret sauce chicken—brilliant balance of sweet and savoury, with the sauce absolutely coating the chicken (which was disappointingly lacking the second time I visited), yet the batter is impressively crispy in all their chicken menu items. Complimentary pickled radishes were a nice touch, and I sampled some wings, which were just alright, but the sweet potato cheese balls are recommended. Only downside was the rosé tteokbokki, which just tasted like a plain cheese sauce, really.“

Totally worth it..not every week but I’ll get it once in a while cause it so good…but bit pricey

Parking: Street parking on Dunbar .. can get busy depending on the time of day.
I ordered to pickup around 7 and it was fine

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps so wheel chairs should be able to get in“

We had the fish dip, with lovely homemade tortillas which were delicious. We had a spring salad, the zucchini salad, bison carpaccio, and smoked salmon- everything was great. “How have we lived here for six years and not tried Lionsgste pizza!? I looked up gluten-free pizza and LG pizza was the top of my search. We ordered a gluten-free pizza with vegan cheese and I was thoroughly impressed with the flavour and the amount of toppings! The staff are super friendly and very flexible allowing us to split the toppings half and half. My kids absolutely loved the pizza, which is very telling because they are quite picky eaters. I do have to say,I see people are commenting on the price of the pizza, but that’s what you pay for a good quality pizza. I mean the box was heavy, so to me that means quality ingredients. “I came here for lunch today and ordered the Tuna Tataki salad with chicken donburi 2 item combo. There are a lot of tuna chunks in my salid, well worth the additional $2. The chicken donburi is on the salty side and there were some chicken cartilage and tough onion skins in the bowl that shouldn’t have been in the bowl. I’d suggest Mainichi to provide miso soup with their combo. They don’t cost much and add to perceived value of the meal. Overall a very good new Japanese style Korean restaurant.“

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had to order last minute for a large group, and this turned out to be a great solution; they prepared the pizzas exactly as ordered and had them ready on time.
