“I have been looking to visit this place for quite awhile when they were located originally on Broadway. I am very glad they reopened and they definitely did not disappoint. Me and my friends ordered their guava mousse cake, yuzu tart, and black forest cake. The guava cake had a very delectable fresh tart taste of guava with a mild sweet and sour after note, making it the most refreshing and light of the three on a hot summer day. The yuzu tart had similar sweet and sour citrus notes but less tropical than the guava cake. Nevertheless, it was also velvety and smooth in texture with a light tart shell. Finally, the Black Forest cake was moist but had subtle hints of dryness in some bites. It was also light in sweetness with the signature tartness from the cherries and red wine infusion. However, the cherry jelly in the cake was a bit bland and more or less felt like an attempt of adding a unique spin on a Black Forest cake. Overall, would highly recommend giving this place a try!“

“We had a taste with the sample and decided to buy a square as an edible souvenir. It is high quality, honest description of what it is exactly. Surely a little treat I would not spend on everyday, but it is a nice dessert or sweet snack to share, or not share haha! It is quite dense so despite its size, it's fulfilling.“

“I had the most heartwarming experience at Praguery last Sunday! The ice cream was absolutely DELICIOUS, but what really made my day was the exceptional service from Alex and Andrea!. Both were super sweet and patient when I was choosing between the flavours, and they helped me pick the best one! I loved how they made sure I had a memorable time. They’re the reason I’ll be coming back for more ice cream this summer!

“Okay, I fell for the hype and ordered the black sesame first — rich, creamy, and completely worth it. I was in pastry heaven.
That is, until my husband shouted mid-line, “Get the Portuguese tart too!”
I didn’t think anything could top the black sesame… but here we are. Let me officially declare my love for the Portuguese egg tart at Eggette. It’s flaky, silky, perfect — pure egg magic in pastry form. I’d call it egg art. Or egg poetry.
I will never forgive my husband for increasing my daily calorie intake… but I will forever thank him for pushing me to try both.

“Decided to grab a warm soy milk cause I was thirsty and it was delicious. While I was waiting, I saw one of the employee packing containers with tofu pudding (it was freshly made) so decided to get a container. It was a lot for just $8.25. It was so silky smooth and tastes so good. Better than other ones I’ve tried. It tastes best warm but cold is also delicious. Def recommend!“

“I hadn't been here in ages and their desserts are still tasty.
- a great selection of assorted desserts. They even sell cakes for special occasions. We only had room for something small but next time, we'll be in for the bigger desserts. The macarons had just the right taste of not being too sweet. My favourite was the caramel macaron.
- great service
a nice vibe to the place with either indoor or outdoor seating. It's probably the only great dessert place in central downtown Vancouver.
I can't wait to go back there for more desserts.“

“We ordered a bulk order of macarons as wedding favours and they turned out beautifully! We had Vanilla, Cherry, Cranberry, Cassis, and Salted Caramel, and not only did they taste delicious, but the presentation and packaging was very well done. Everyone helping us with the planning and execution was very helpful and professional from start to finish. I would definitely order from here again in the future! Thank you to Christian and Andrea and the whole Thierry team!“
“After having these at Granville Island, my wife and I decided to order them for our wedding. The service was great and the squares were delicious, as expected! They also keep really well, which was a bonus because we were able to order a few days in advance. They tasted just as fresh as when I've had them at Granville Island.“

“We recently tried the mango pomelo sago with jasmine jelly here to compare it to MACU. Not sure if the name is mislabeled, but the drink didn’t have any sago in it, which was a bit surprising. That said, I’m definitely looking forward to coming back to try their soft serve and other drinks!“
“This is an unassuming cafe, one you may walk past without a second glance. Don't miss out. We used it for breakfast on three mornings. For 7 Canadian Dollars you can have a breakfast toastie and a coffee. The food is simple but delicious, the coffee is excellent and the service is very friendly and good. There is a fine,selection of sandwiches, ice cream, pastries and cakes. We had a muffin and some baklava, delicious.1“

“Excellent Italian coffee, bustling location, outdoor seating which I would love them to maintain for the winter months. Pizzas & sandwiches are tasty but the sweets selection is unfortunately lacking unless you want gelato which is yummy, nice variety of flavours. Opens late & closed Sundays in winter which is annoying for a busy neighbourhood. Chez Nous is nearby for great pastries & Valoroso on Pacific has good Italian coffee as well.“

“Really delicious gelato. Some of the family got the sorbetto (diary free) and loved those too! We recommend the mango, the new fashion chocolate, the midnight chocolate, the coconut, the pumpkin pecan bread, and the oreo. We can’t wait to return!“

“We were out for a walk finishing at the Ambleside seawall, so we stopped by here for a drink and treat to fuel up before walking home.
My wife had a pain au chocolat and a flat white. The pastry was very flaky and chocolaty gf not too sweet while the drink had some caffeine to help gives us energy for the wall home.
I ordered a house pressed lemonade and an almond croissant. The lemonade was refreshing but not too sweet, more tart. The croissant was so flaky and the almond paste so flavourful! They were both great after the walk!
This place is definitely worth a visit!“
