“This place is perfect for grabbing a drink on a hot summer day. Oue server Abby was super kind and patient while walking us through the options. She even noticed one of us was cold and brought over a blanket without us asking. Little things like that really stand out. Honestly, one of the best waitresses I’ve met in a long time. Easy 5 stars!“

“I got takeout today (Aug. 27) and the food was PERFECT!!!! People rave about Ramen Danbo, but that place is mediocre at best.
I bought the creamy chicken black ramen for $16 (I tipped), which I THINK is the tonkatsu black ramen and it tasted SO DIVINE. I’ve been to Japan and all I ate there was ramen and I think this is the closest authentic Japanese ramen I’ve ever had. Noodles was perfect, broth, and chashu. I can’t believe this place is in a food court. I’d definitely get more takeout here.
They don’t take AMEX, which is fine. The service was incredibly friendly. Just the same service I used to get in Japan.
Not the place’s fault, but I was getting catcalled and there were few weirdos around because of the location (downtown East Hastings). Won’t stop me from buying here though!! Can’t wait.“

“The Waterfront Centre Food Court offers a nice variety of options, from quick snacks to full meals, with something for most tastes. The location is super convenient, right by the station and the waterfront, making it easy to grab a bite before or after travel. It’s generally clean and well-maintained, though it can get busy during lunch hours and seating might be a bit tight at peak times. Overall, a great spot for a quick, satisfying meal in downtown Vancouver.“

“Great tasting, fresh food including salads, smoothies and bowls, conveniently located in the Quay Market, North Vancouver. Vegan friendly menu, and knowledgeable staff ready to help. My favourite is the sticky sesame rice with mango! 🥭“

“I highly recommend this store! The staff are super friendly, and the food really hits the spot. I especially loved how they added a generous amount of vegetables to my noodles — that’s a big plus for me. They cooked my teriyaki beef noodles right in front of me, which not only shows their cleanliness but also gave me fun street food vibes. Loved the whole experience!“
“Pretty good food considering it's a food court. Quite a bit of selections.. from Vietnamese to Japanese to Korean to Indian and a sandwich place too.
It can get busy here, so come at 11:45am to beat the rush!
Tried the pho for the first taste, and it's decent sized for $15.50. Will definitely try other restaurants next time.“

“A great addition to Lonsdale Quay! Highly recommend their bowls and salads!“
“Cheapest, most worth it food on campus IMO. You MUST try Donair Town, My Home Cuisine, and Want Want Hot & Spicy House (don't customize your own pot unless you want to spend more money). My only problem with this place is that it is hella dirty and I think the janitors legit clean it once per day because there is always a time that the trash cans are full and used containers are stacked like jenga.“

“Dont get me wrong now
In the terms of dining halls
this is pretty good
but otherwise, it really is mid food, non comparable to resturants.
I cam here for FGL program and food was always buffet style.“

“This is one of the three conventional first year dining halls on UBC campus, and it is solidly alright.
They always offer a very wide selection of food at their various different stations including different types of pizza, burgers, pasta, and spins on traditional Mexican, homestyle, and Asian cuisine. They have all of this along with quite the yogurt/salad bar assortment + desserts and drinks.
Unlimited food with so many options is definitely a benefit, but some choices can be subpar at best and I noticed readily accessible protein options (primarily meat) are not always available.
My go to "clean" options (download nutrislice to be sure, but don't expect to see nutritional facts posted publicly ANYWHERE) that also taste pretty good include the sesame chicken salad with a hard boiled egg, any of their salmon meals, or a simple yogurt bowl.
It may be difficult to eat here everyday, but sometimes there are hidden gems and the staff never disappoint. This is why they deserve an absolute minimum of 4 stars :)
Vegetarian options: Lots of good vegan and vegetarian options for both dessert and main courses!“

“I came here for dinner in my first year at UBC almost everyday, because it’s probably the best dining hall out of the three. The food was very consistent. My recommendations: butter chicken from Square Kitchen, fried rice from Custom Kitchen, and the occasional dim sum on weekends. There used to be serious health safety issues with bugs being found in the food, so be careful of that“

“I had a fantastic experience at Bourbon St. Grill in Park Royal! The food here is incredibly fresh and healthy, which is a rare combo to find at a grill spot. Every bite was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The taste is absolutely incredible — rich, savory, and satisfying without feeling heavy.
What really stood out was the staff. They were super friendly, professional, and made the whole visit even more enjoyable. Their warm attitude and attentive service really added to the overall experience.
If you're in West Vancouver and looking for a tasty, healthy meal served with a smile, Bourbon St. Grill is a must-visit!“
