“Lovely higher end cafe. Fancy, delicious offerings. Not a lot of indoor seating, luckily it was a nice day so we sat outside. The sweets looked delicious but I had a tea & a roasted tomato danish for $15.50 including the lowest tip option. There’s only street parking & it is challenging on a sunny weekend but might be easier on a weekday. Many restaurants, shops & beach close by so parking is often a little challenging on a nice day.“

Good prices and really good portions- from amount of meat, lots of cheese, perfect amount of sauce and the foccasia... so, so good. Service was also beyond top notch. Annabelle’s gets pretty busy despite being a small shop, they have outside seating they set up which seems very lively. The service has been friendly every time I’ve been and they got options for people with dietary restrictions which is great.“

“I’ve been a regular customer for a long time but recently I ordered a wedding cake from Tanya. She listened to my vision and created a beautiful masterpiece for my intimate wedding. I also had to transport it on the ferry and she had it packaged so well, it arrived in one piece. From cake tasting to pickup, it was all very seamless and of course the cake tasted amazing. We chose the lemon olive oil gateau which tasted bright and not too rich. We’ll definitely order again when we have another occasion.“

“I come here to work on my laptop and write, and there's a lovely atmosphere for that. But don't skimp on their cafe offerings while you're here. There is a chocolate brownie that is so good it's utterly insane. Their Canadiano is also very clean and well done and I highly recommend it.“

“I had to leave a review after my great experience today at Breka Kitsilano. I had placed an order for takeout but accidentally placed it at the wrong location (Fraser). I asked if I could just reorder the food here, but they just gave me the order instead of making me pay for it again. I was really impressed with their service. It was really helpful for us as we had two hungry little kids in the car waiting. Will definitely be coming back.“

“I got the hojicha latte with oat milk and half sweet and an egg tart. It was pretty good, the hojicha flavor was there and nice but I like it to be a strong roasty flavor. The egg tart was yummy, custardy and crispy. I got it warmed up but it wasn't warm all the way in the center, it was still good though.

I went in the afternoon and they had a limited selection of pastries so I suggest going earlier for more selection of croissants, cheesecake and pastries. Staff are nice. They have open seating with big windows, nice space and atmosphere“

I am mostly disappointed in the fruit cakes, like The Mango, which is basically white chocolate with mango puree and it does not taste good at all.
Otherwise, great pastries and drinks and the place looks cool.“

“After going to the Vancouver Art Gallery, I saw the Faubourg Cafe across the street. When I went inside I was surprised at how cute and cozy it was. I absolutely loved the decor especially the chandeliers. If you are ever downtown please go there and try the peach croissant. You won’t be disappointed. 🥐“

“It’s a really nice place with a great variety of pastries and cakes. The cakes are light and delicate. The cream in cakes is actually real cream, it doesn't taste like some kind of substitute made with egg whites, butter milk,.... It has a nice texture and a natural taste. The cakes aren’t overly sweet or loaded with sugar, and the variety is very good.

The sandwiches are delicate and are usually made with fresh bread and fresh ingredients. I normally buy sandwiches there, and except for two occasions(it smelled a bit stale and had an unpleasant, slightly slimy texture), my experience has been good.
