Food was good but not great. They don't cook the fried rice in front of you and it was just ok. The sauces were ok but no yum yum sauce which was a disappointment. The ginger salad dressing was outstanding though. All in all a good meal, but not a favorite.
Superb experience all around. I hate to admit that I've been coming to Whistler for 20 years and never really given Teppan a thought... until my 8-yr-old suggested it. We both agreed we wish we would have discovered it sooner. The food was good (which, tbh, has become harder to find in Whistler the last few years) and the service was great. The good, steak cooked well, service excellent and friendly, good atmosphere. Unfortunately the bad, the family sharing our table left promptly, kids asleep, so then the chef decided to the clean the grill, hence it got a bit smokey while we hadn't finished eating, which really isn't on.Putting that to one side, would recommend and happily go back.
