It was a very pleasant evening at La Baia. We started with warm olives with their delicious fresh bread and great escargot. We had vongole linguini in white wine, and it was as delicious as I have been hoping vongole pasta to be. Excellent food and service with reasonable prices. We just happened to drop in without a reservation and we’re pleasantly surprised. Our server was a gem and made us feel special, and his recommendations informed our choices. The House salad is scrumptious!Vegetarian options: The gnocchi was divine, as reported by our genuine Italian guest.

Overall a pleasant experience with great food and service. I found it a bit odd that they charge separately between $1-$3 for the kind of pasta preferred with no default option.Nonetheless, decent sized portions and a nice ambience.
