“Manager is amazing. He takes “service with a smile” to another level. The staff is super friendly too. Food is on the high end of what you can expect from McDonalds. I never usually write reviews but did so for this place because how pleasant of an experience it was.”

“I had the pleasure of going into Little Hobo Soup & Sandwich Shop and was impressed by the level of service and care. From the moment we walked in the door you could just feel this was a special place. In a world that is fast paced, and everyone seems to be rushing through their day, this place gives you a moment of escape for even a short amount of time. The food is great and feels like some home cooking from grandma. Nostalgia is something they serve up daily, especially the Doukhobor Borscht (my little Ukrainian heart exploded). They even have take away items that you can indulge in at home. But the thing that stood out the most was the way their staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed, from the initial walk in, directing the line, and even while we waited for our takeout I think every staff member came by and made sure we didn't need anything. Our hospitality industry is lacking in that connection and level of care. One last thing, Crystal posts the daily specials in such a heartfelt way to their Facebook page that it's almost impossible to not give a shout out to this little small business and give them some community love that they so deserve.”

“Komo Sushi is truly a gem in Kelowna – easily the best sushi experience in town. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, setting the stage for a fantastic meal.

The sushi here is simply outstanding. The fish is exceptionally fresh, with a melt-in-your-mouth quality that is hard to find anywhere else. Each roll is crafted with precision and care, highlighting the balance of flavors and textures that every sushi lover craves. Their sashimi is sliced to perfection, and the specialty rolls showcase a wonderful creativity, all while remaining true to traditional Japanese flavors.

Service at Komo Sushi is equally impressive. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure every customer leaves happy. Orders arrive promptly, and the team goes above and beyond to make recommendations and ensure dietary preferences are respected.

On top of all this, the pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of both the ingredients and service. Komo Sushi delivers incredible value, making it an ideal choice for both casual dining and special occasions.

“I recently visited Cactus Club Cafe in Kelowna, and overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. The location on Water Street is great, especially if you want a nice view of Okanagan Lake while you eat. The atmosphere is modern and stylish, and I loved the open air dining area, it’s perfect for warmer days.

The food was delicious! I tried a few dishes, and everything was presented beautifully and tasted fresh and flavorful. The Truffle Fries were a highlight, and the variety on the menu made it hard to choose just one thing. Their drinks are also worth checking out, the cocktail I had was refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal.

The service was solid too. They were all friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed.

The only downside I noticed is that it’s on the pricier side which I expected for a premium casual dining spot, and it can get a bit busy during peak hours too!

All in all, I’d recommend Cactus Club Cafe if you want tasty food, a good vibe, and a great lakeside view. I’ll definitely be back with family and more friends!”

She greeted us with a most beautiful smile and warm welcome. Service was consistently good throughout the meal and Raeya was readily available. “Fun spot - gets rather busy. A lot of different flavours to choose from to make it a hit for anyone and everyone. Single scoop is two flavours at $5.70. They were generous scoops as well. Taste test is allowed here as well. Beats the chain ice cream parlour. Flavour is good and standard.”
