Innovative and classic cocktails are offered alongside beer and a modest wine selection. The mocktails looked wonderfully thirst-quenching, but my soul was calling for an orange wine. It served its purpose quite nicely.
The menu centers on healthier bar food options, and the intention comes through beautifully. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully sourced, and lovingly prepared rather than simply assembled. The offerings lean playful, with subtle Asian influences that keep things interesting.
The rice tots? Unexpected, whimsical, and absolutely worthy of sharing—crispy little conversation starters.
But let’s discuss the pastrami sandwich. A glorious indulgence layered with melty cheese, kimchi slaw, and piled onto a locally baked brioche bun. Restraint was simply not invited to this meal.
My dinner companions opted for the cheeseburger and were completely delighted. Classic in concept, but elevated in execution, right down to the burger sauce, which struck that elusive perfect balance of tangy, savory, and craveable.

“Spiteri's is still the GOAT for sandwiches in Chico. I don't know what makes their sandwiches so good, but they are seriously like crack. And I never have to wait long; I'm usually in and out in <10 min. And they have a cool selection of canned sodas, such as Squirt Zero or A&W Root Beer Zero, which are really hard to find in stores. They also have many excellent sides to choose from, such as potato salad or lobster mac.
My order: sandwich on wheat roll, turkey, pepper jack cheese, all toppings plus onions, sprouts, and jalapenos (gotta have that kick).“

Tonight is my 1 year anniversary with my partner, we didn't make reservations when we showed up and it was busy, but we still got a table quickly. “this place is what you might imagine, a dated older fish joint filled with olds. It was exactly what we were hoping for. The clam chowder was great! There are 2 kinds of fried fish, do yourself a favor and get the more expensive one. I got a senior fish dinner, but wouldve preferred to pay a few bucks more and get the regular.“

“By far the best pizza spot in Chico. It is pricey but they use local ingredients and if you hit the farmers market on Saturday mornings chances are you’ll see the owner filling his wagon with local produce. Our favorites are the Green Goddess salad, Nanny Goat pizza and East Coast pizza. Like others have mentioned service is not fast. The salads come out almost right away but I think they have a ton of to-go orders because pizzas can often take more than 45 minutes (even on a Monday night). They have some toys for kids to play with and high chairs so we love that. Last night they seemed pretty overwhelmed; there wasn’t enough clean silverware and the water jugs were both empty. But the food was delicious as always.“

What a fun place to have lunch! It has indoor seating and outdoor shaded seating. Puppy friendly!

We shared the black forest ham spatzle ( not sure if I spelled it correctly) which is a German inspired dish.

It was delicious! Noodles cooked perfectly with plenty of ham and goodness in the bowl! First time I tried something a bit different and glad we ordered this ( came specially for this house favorite).

Full bar with a ton of craft beers to choose from!

The place is bicycle themed with a bike shop next door.

Very cool and casual! When we left it was already very busy!

It is just a liquor store parking lot, but what food truck has nice atmosphere? None I have ever been to.Great food with reasonable prices.I like everything I have tried, which is most of the menu. My go-to is the chicken wrap. The gyro quesadilla is really good, too. It is listed as an appetizer, but it is a large and filling quesadilla.The burgers are also very good, but they have a Mediterranean flavor, so don't expect the typical taste of your standard American burger.The chicken sandwich is dark meat, which I prefer, but I think it is worth noting so people do not expect the standard white meat chicken patty.As far as I can tell, there is only one person who works there(the owner), and he makes everything fresh to order, so I recommend calling your order in ahead of time. It will take 15-20 minutes(or more if you order a lot and/or they are really busy) to be ready. I see this as a plus. Most food trucks have everything premade and simply assemble ingredients instead of making it for you when ordered. I have watched him meticulously plating food with great care. It is clear he takes a lot pride in his cuisine and cares for the customer's satisfaction immensely.The owner is always very polite and friendly and has a very warm and welcoming smile.Solid Five Star food truck, and some of the best food I have had in Chico.I have recommended it to every one I work with. This is a nice upscale but not pretentious place for lunch. Dog friendly outdoor patio and pretty shaded.

We came here for their mushroom risotto as listed on their website. Unfortunately they don't have it anymore !( they need to update their website).

We got the cold cucumber soup on a warm day. It was just okay. We also got the meatballs with some delicious crusty bread and it was excellent!

They have inside dining as well with a variety of cheeses and wine to buy. Plus some baked goods.

Good wine and beer available. Plenty of pizzas coming out from their wood burning oven!

Chatted with the nicest man at the window and when he heard about Hanks first day of puppy school he encouraged us to treat him with a Pup Cup. Hank loved it. The food is always good my favorite is the Penang curry with chicken. My dad always gets the cashew chicken and loves it. We get the Satay chicken and we love the sticky mango rice for dessert. The recent expansion was done in a phenomenal way to provide two different dining experiences whereas the new “”lounge with about 10 doubles is really nice for an intimate dining experience. As for the food, OMG! Flavors you recognize but don’t typically prepare, awesome sushi and sashimi. I am partial to simple dishes like a Gilroy roll, California roll and the like. These were on the menu deep fried and again, OMG! The staff was awesome, and management has adapted to a much larger capacity with minimal, if any, disruption in service.
