McDonald's in Fresno

“I have to admit, I was a little skeptical of the ordering board. The touchscreen... all of those menu options... and the customization process seemed intimidating at first. But in conjunction with the phone app, ordering was a breeze. I'd have given it 5 stars, but the following desirable aspects were missing:
1. Outlets for charging devices.
2. Some kind of cash account where one could deposit funds in order to utilize mobile ordering to pay ahead of time for pick up.“

“Only mcdonald left with a playground in this area which is very nice for the kids. Dont really like the ordering screen service because its always broken or something with the payment. Bathrooms is always locked which reduced the homeless that used to be there, just annoying because you have to ask to open. They have safety alert doors in playground which they take forever to turn off, which mean workers didnt check if help is needed even if triggered by accident or not (lack of safety services of its purpose) however other parents do get alert in the room but what procedures would they know to do to help unless they are just protective of any kid but how many of them are there? Just saying. But yea food is quick here.

Vegetarian options: Only thing vegan is the fries and drinks.

Kid-friendliness: 8/10. can get pack sometimes.

“The lady that delivered my iced coffee was so sweet she asked me to try it first because she didn't like how it looked and if I didn't like it she would happily make me a new one which she did and I appreciate it so much I wish I got her name.“

“I'm sure it's necessary because of the area but it's frustrating to have to get a code to open the bathroom. I did a mobile order and then ran in to use the bathroom while my food was being prepared. Unfortunately, I had to wait in line to get the code, which means my food was ready before I even got to go into the bathroom. There was also a security guard by the door at this one. That was a first. I guess I'm glad McDonald's is taking my safety seriously.“

“One of the better McDonald's I've been to in Fresno. The staff was very nice and you can tell communication in the kitchen is great. The young man taking the orders out to tables and outside to curbside is awesome. I saw him working hard.“

“I no longer eat but will get sweet tea & moca frappe at McDonald's, but my sister and her son wanted food, and I do drive thru McDonald's for their sweet tea. They said the food chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, and fries were good. We were traveling from Fresno to Visalia. Found it by accident and wasn't clear enough from Google maps. I do admit I was driving around and got off the 99 frw seeing other fast food places. Maps listed the McDonald's behind us, then directing me to turn before needed, but my sister saw it almost 2 blocks away.

“Loved the food and service here up until this past year. I'd ordered from here at least once/week (sometimes more) and in that time every other month I've noticed I'm paying a little more for the same food, and having to wait most of the time in long, slow moving drive-thru lines (this is at 10pm when I'm visiting, and I spend 30 minutes waiting to get up to window now only to be asked to park out front while they finish up making my burger well-done like I asked, as I always do. Really!? 30 minutes wasn't long enough to do that? Problem is It's never well done, anymore, no matter how many times I double check and am told yes they got well done, it just isn't. Seems like they reduced # working now at 10pm, and unfortunately the ones that are don't really care what you might ask for (suchg as cooking burger well-done), and have no problem lying to me, as the last few times upon getting home and opening it to eat it, I find it NOT well-done or browned, as I'd been assured it would be. So into the garbage it goes.) My advice is, do not go here at night, and forget about asking for it well-done, because it won't be. I'll be checking out the In-N-Out right next door to Mc'D's as that's where nearly everyone in this area goes to eat. Must be a reason..........

“Excellent experience using the mobile ordering app. I chose drive-through to pick up my order at first however, when I arrived, I saw the drive-through line was ridiculously long. The mobile app allows you to change it very easily and so I changed it to curbside which I found very convenient and the staff was very friendly and fast getting my food out to me.

Order two milkshakes and they actually have the ice cream machine working lol“

“I was at work but left to buy something to eat at McDonald's nearby. For me I bought Fish Filet sandwich & my famous drink was the Large Carmel extra drizzle Frappe. I paid for mine then I paid for the car in back of me too. When I had to wait in front for my Frappe the car who I paid for yelled out and said Thank-you & I waved back at him like saying you welcome...Then I went back to work. The Drive up Cashier was Fast, Patient & Surprised...“

“In the food, they need to clean their oils more frequently, the service is terrible in terms of take-out orders because there is always something missing in the order of the products and in the place the worst atmosphere in that area, especially the homeless. around them they make the place feel unsafe and afraid.“

“I went to this location on a Friday night. It wasn't busy and per usual I went to the kiosk to place my order. I have the app so it gives me deals/discounts which come in handy. However when I was trying to redeem a "free large fry with any size drink" deal it wouldn't complete the process. I tried this several times before asking a employee if they could help me. The employee stated I could just place my order at the cash register. However when I went to use this deal at the register, the app told me I had to wait as it hadn't cleared the deal from the kiosk. The employee told me it wasn't a problem and rung me up for the deal and the rest of my order. Even gave me two large drinks instead of the small ones that come with the $5 meal deal which made my initial frustration turn into one of being thankful. This female employee (I believe she was a shift manager or crew leader), was kind, courteous, and professional. So even though I had a problem at first it turned into a good and pleasant experience/trip to this McDonald's. Goes to show how attitude and customer service can go a long way!

“I have visited this location about two weeks ago to get breakfast after moving my daughter into Fresno state. They have a great selection of breakfast and friendly staff. I’d like to say thank you to manager Veronica who helped me with my dietary restrictions and was kind and patient. Her kindness made my day and made me feel welcomed, I will be returning back to this McDonald’s in hopes to receiving great customer service! Food came out great and fast :)“

“This 4* review is specifically against other McDonalds. This location always makes the food quick and well. It's McDonald's. There is not really much to say that people don't know. This location tends to skimp on the Fries. More than 75% of the time the large fries is less than half full, giving the amount of a medium or less.“

“We have been coming to this McDonald's for a year for visits with my grandson. The staff has been great. Never ask us to leave . We allowed to play board games. Today my daughter and her son able to paint a skull. It was awesome. Being in a transitions fir daughter to get her son. It is very appreciated to have a safe place for visits. Thank you.“

“This McDonald's is always on the ball . Was disappointed we couldn't sit in the dining room and eat , as this is part of the fun on Grandma/ Grandson date night .

Kid-friendliness: Mostly... No dine in available...so messy if you have to eat with a small child in the car.“

“The employees have such kind personalities, work fast, and are accurate with orders. But you have to be patient with them since it is a busy location with the occasional homeless person causing problems. One of the soda machines is hardly working (can't make ice and soda seems watered down compared to the other) so lines for the one working soda machine are common during rush hours.

Parking: Lots of available spots, but the parking lot is hectic. Since it's shared with other stores, there is a lot of parking lot traffic

Kid-friendliness: It still has a nice sized play space, unlike most locations.“

“I was being a dingus and went to the divisadero McDonald's by mistake. When the person at the wrong McDonald's finally looked up my order after 12 minutes, the order couldnt be found. That's when I realized I was at the wrong location. I got to the right location and the lady gets me fresh fries without asking. I know I don't pay much at all for food and definitely don't pay enough for good customer service but when you get good service it's everything ??“

“This mc donalds is very clean and the workers are very nice. But sadly they arent very friendly to the homeless. But some days it takes a while to get your order taken since they are understaffed. I recommend going in the drive thru for a faster experience. Please do note they are under staffed and wait times can take a while.!“
