I canceled my order for the vegetarian sandwich (because everyone knows a sandwich without guacamole is no sandwich at all). At this Point the manager ran next-door to The grocery store and got an avocado To make me a sandwich. I was beyond impressed by their customer service and the managers quick thinking. I would absolutely returned this Port of subs over and over again!“

“I always enjoy coming to Port of Subs! The sandwiches are fresh every time and the bread is soft, the veggies are crisp, and the meat tastes great. You can tell they take pride in making each order just right. The staff is always friendly, quick, and makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. I've tried 7 or 8 spicy chicken sandwiches around central valley and this us by far the best!!
The chicken was juicy, the toppings were fresh, the sauce was good and medium spicy and the bun was so so so perfect. They said it is similar to their Dutch crunch bread 🍞. Whatever it is, I highly recommend it. And I'll be back to have another and try something else on their menu.

The staff is always friendly albeit sometimes hard to get the attention of someone when it's busy. But they do their best. I've never had a bad experience at Mr. Pickles. My favorite is the Italian on sour dough or the Goomba!“

“I want to give the biggest shout out for Jersey Mike's Riverpark store and the one on Riverside. I ordered off the catering many lunch for 15 people but ordered from the wrong store. There was not enough time to drive across town so they made me a whole new order right on the spot and didn't charge me for the other order. That's what customer service is all about. “The sandwich shop was empty, very clean. The young lady behind the counter was polite and charming and, in the end, understanding. My friend gave me a gift card she had won, so I went to the sandwich shop to treat myself to a toasted sub combo. I tried to pay with my card, failed. The lady behind the counter stated that I wasn't registered, so I sat down with the task of registering the card, after what seemed like eternity I managed to register the card, finally the nightmare ended, so I thought. The card failed twice more. Now hungry and irritated, I tried for another 30 me ns that's lost to me forever, only to come to the conclusion, there was never any money on the card. Embarrassed, I fled the restaurant mortified that the nice young lady had prepared a great looking sandwich for nothing. All I can say is getting a gift card, and getting a gift card that's loaded, are two very different scenarios.“

“Whenever I can't find something vegan at a nearby store (in Clovis) I'll make the trip over to Whole Foods. I've never had a problem finding it there, but items can be pricey. They made my birthday cake for me which they had 2 vegan options. I got the chocolate torte cake which I'll upload a picture of. The party goers (who weren't vegan) absolutely loved it and devoured it. There were no leftovers. Also they have a food bar as do the other Whole Foods I've been to. The first time I visited and wanted vegan pizza they didn't have it. However, the next time they did and the time after that they didn't have any already made, but they said they'd make one for me and asked what I'd like on it. It was nice that I still could still just get a slice or two of the vegan pizza (when I've had to buy the whole pizza before at other places). Overall I do enjoy this store, but I wish there was one closer to me.“
