Peet's is the best. Starbucks was founded by former Peet's people, they changed the color from brown to green, gave it a meaningless name (peet's is named for the founder, Alfred Peet) and gave the sizes dumb names.
Came by for a really quick energy boost about 30 min before closing and opted for a espresso. This Peet's location was clean during my visit and staff was friendly. Even half an hour before closing, there were still about5 customers inside working so it shows to be a solid workspace. My espresso took about 5 min and when it was ready, they announced my drink order so that I knew it was ready and I could pick it up. MYLA (aka "MAI TAI") IS AWESOME !!! She always provides outstanding service, with a huge smile and incredible warmth. (In fairness, everyone else that I have ever dealt with here was also great.). In a world full of "gourmet" coffee shops, I still return to Peet's, again and again. They are unparalleled!
