From our first Starbucks find Vancouver BC bear Whistler 1988 to tonight’s Alameda followup.
This coffee shop is in the heart of the historic downtown, so I found a parking spot, with a meter, and I walked over to have a little coffee. The coffee was good and this was a great stop early in the day.

Based on the reviews, Starbucks Coffee Company has kind and thoughtful staff who go out of their way to make the experience better. A Venti Caramel Frappachino tasted great, though it was served in a Venti Coffee cup. A visit at 5 pm on a Saturday had no line and efficient service, but an iced and a hot matcha latte were poorly made, with the hot one having a huge clump of undissolved powder. Long lines occur around 3:30 with teenaged girls and middle aged soccer moms getting pumpkin spiced lattes. If there is no line, customers can order pup cups for free without showing a dog. Wheelchair accessibility buttons to push to open the door sometimes do not work.
