“My family and I love Xenia Bistro. The food is tasty and the customer service is A+. (Jordan was our server tonight) I had salmon with risotto and vegetables. The Salmon was fabulous. It was the best I've had in a while, It was grilled to perfection. They changed their menu to offer more options. My fussy eater son had steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans. He ate it all and said it was delicious. My husband had the short ribs and my daughter had the grilled Cod with a Shirley Temple. We will return again and again. Thank you!“

“The food here is amazing! We came here for my birthday dinner. We all got great dishes: my pork chop was tender and juicy, the crab cakes were excellent as was the flaky filo Mary's chicken. The desserts were good, not as great as the main courses in my opinion but my friends liked them. We got the bread pudding and the black bottom white chocolate banana cream tart.“

“I had the polenta with prawns and crispy cauliflower. It was delicious. The crispy cauliflower was really good dipped in the garlic aioli that came with the lamb burger sliders which my sister in law thought were good. My brother got the short ribs which looked delicious and I will order it next time. My brother said they tasted great. Sadly he doesn't like to share.“

“This has been the BEST experience dining in! When I came in I was deciding what meal I wanted, and after communicating that to the cashier, he helped me combine the best of both worlds (of which I was debating) and created an amazing meal. Thank you so much! I look forward to my next visit!“

“Ok so first, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS, AMAZING, TERRIFIC, and so much more. Second, once you have ordered your food it will come in 15 or less minutes! Third, once you come into the restaurant, (you may have to wait in a line) the hostess will ask you for your name and phone number, if you want to be seated outside or inside, and how long the wait time is (about 20 minutes). Lastly, you should definitely consider coming to Jack's if you're feeling hungry! (They serve breakfast until 2:00pm and lunch all day.) PS you HAVE to try the Mac and cheese!Vegetarian options: You could get the omelet (which is very good) if you are looking for something that is for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: The hostess would ask you if you want a kid(s) menus. Plenty of options on the kids menu.“

“This was my first time to this restaurant, but I was not disappointed. I have significant food allergies, but I was able to make slight adjustments without any problem, and without any annoyance by our waitress. I had the beet salad and the deviled eggs, and both were delicious. I thought the pricing was fair and a good value for what was served. My salad proportion wise was very large. I would definitely go back if I am in the area.“

Parking is better than downtown Walnut Creek, Concord or Martinez which is another plus. Keep Skylar Bistro in mind for Art and Wine plus Concerts in the Grove later on.Parking: During festivals and concerts, nearby parking may be hard to find - nothing new there. That’s no reflection on the restaurant. Other times, there’s parking out front or across the street plus the Post Office.“

“Hot bowl is the best food for lunch. You can make your own bowl with available options. Tried chicken hot bowl, veggie bowl with tofu. Tried options with spinach, pasta, Thai curry and also with teriyaki sauce.. all items are made great and tasty here.. highly recommended for lunch for veggie and non vegetarian.“

“The food is very good. I ask for medium poached eggs, and I get them every time. It is incredibly hard nowadays to find REAL Hollandaise sauce..Egg yolks, real butter and lemon...it's here and good. I would also add the potatoes should have bell pepper and onion mixed in with them...imo...I will say this much, we were in there to sign paperwork for my daughter and her husband's very first house...we met there, specifically because it is an organic place, we had been there many times before. We were there this time to celebrate and sign papers. We were rushed out however, and it should have been noticed by the waiter that we were obviously celebrating... gift bags, mimosas, and an obvious celebratory atmosphere at our table.. pictures were being taken, and paper work everywhere... we were pushed out, the waiter was OBVIOUSLY annoyed that we had been sitting there longer than he deemed necessary, which was unfortunate. He was left, despite his obvious annoyance, a 30% tip. Other than that the food is very good and we will continue to come here. We WILL say, if we get "pushed out" again... it WILL be an issue. As an ex waitress myself, it is imperative that people understand in the service business, not everyone goes out to breakfast all the time, some of us go out to celebrate, to spend time together because we don't see each other that often..... we chose to come see you... it's important that that energy is picked up on. I understand the need to "turn" the table over, BUT when you have a table of six that's paying over $200+ for drinks, breakfast and time.... you should just back off and let us be. Read the table.“

“This being my third time here it was really a great atmosphere, the breakfast was delicious. The restaurant is an excellent place to go for anytime of the day .A very enjoyable outdoor seating excellent service and even got the pleasure of having Chef Gerber greet our table to make sure all of our plates where on point.Great experience overall!!!!!“

The location in Google maps is incorrect and actual location is across the side street from the parking lot.Good food, very good and friendly service. Try the mushroom pizza, salmon, or chicken dish. They also have $7 sangria specials starting on Thursdays every week.The ambience is friendly and the decor is minimalist. The portions are big. You can see the impact of inflation in the prices.If you pay using the QR code (sends you to Toast) it includes tax for calculating tip percentages, which is not great. “Definitely the best burger in concord. Great fries (I order mine without parsley) and the chocolate shake is perfect. If you order it medium rare, it's perfectly pink. The cowboy burger (think western bacon cheeseburger) is outstanding too. And my grown kids love the pretzel.“

“We were looking for Curry Up Now, didn't realize it was actually part of the Local Kitchens mini food hall, which we'd never seen before but were thrilled to find. We ended up ordering from The Melt and Sushirrito as well, and loved everything. Ordering and pickup were easy, the staff was friendly, and the whole place looked spotless.Our family of four got tikka masala paneer on rice, garlic parmesan fries, tomato soup with grilled cheese croutons, and chicken karaage with Peruvian herb sauce. There were so many great options, we'll definitely be back again soon. It's the perfect place for a group. “Great selection of beers and wine. I've been back 2 times(many times now) and have had a great time each visit. Nice place to watch sports. The bartenders are all nice, friendly and attentive.I still need to explore the food menu. To be continued...Part 2: the food is amazing for bar food and the menu has many different types to choose from; Burgers, wings, lumpia, wraps, and much more. They offer many different dipping sauces. And some are uniquely made in house.They also offer free wi fi ???Update to review: The food has gotten even better! You will find a full menu with about 50 items and specials every night to keep things new. Every thing I've ordered has been almost gourmet level and delicious. The ownership is doing a superb job on the menu and food preparation.“

“I absolutely dig Batch and Brine. Their food has always been good, their servers have always been spot on, even their drinks are great even though they got rid of my favorite cocktail a few years ago. If you are a burger person eat their Blue burger. It is great every time I order it.“

“I eat at Pelton Cafe often with friends and family. The staff are always very friendly. Super accommodating. The restaurant is clean. Some mornings there's a line and you have to sign in on a piece of paper. Never had to wait too long. They're great at refilling your coffee.“

“I was skeptical because I judged a book by its cover but was blown away by this place. It's so yummy and filling. While the ambiance isn't anything to leave you speechless it does add character to KeunJib. I've been to some very nice looking places that have served some pretty terrible food so trust me on this that they may be attached to a bowling alley but do not sleep on this place. I ordered the bibimbap with beef and it was over flowing with fresh veggies, a fried egg and beef. They also use the purple rice which most Korean places around here just use regular white rice which I find a let down. I also had the tofu soup and it was delicious and perfect for a cold rainy day. It came with all the side dishes which were tasty. I am looking forward to coming back.“

“We are so lucky to have the Creekside Grill in our community! The food is great, the service is friendly, and the environment is beautiful. The salmon is delivered daily, and always perfectly cooked. There are several salads to choose from, and the lamb shank is one of the best I have ever had. If something isn't perfect, then they will make it right if you speak up. Our latest fave is the salmon mousse appetizer! They even serve special menus on holidays, and one of my nephews remarked that his Thanksgiving dinner was the best meal he had EVER had!The staff are so caring for those with mobility issues, often helping those that need to use walkers or wheelchairs.A very special place that we frequent often.“

“I'm shocked at how good this place was. It's tucked in by the Bishop Ranch Lake, at the "Roundhouse". I've walked by many times, but finally came to try today! It's always very busy inside around lunchtime, as employees are on their lunch breaks. Cool that regular passerby can dine in/to go too! There's a huge amount of both indoor and outdoor seating, you'll always find a seat. Ordering process is pretty simple- order at the register, then show your receipt and pay when they call out your name. Our order took less than 5 minutes to prepare. The prices are amazing (for San Ramon, at least). We ordered a tri-tip salad and a tri-tip plate with broccoli and potatoes, with both meals being $12 each. The portion size is very large, and it's plated very gourmet, with a free cookie.The tri-tip was good, but pretty plain. Didn't bother me too much, I enjoyed mine with mustard, and the plate came with a yummy sauce. They didn't ask how we'd like it cooked, and it was pretty inconsistent. My salad's meat was mainly well-done, whereas the plate was more medium. Overall super impressed! The workers were all super nice, the meal was satisfying, and I couldn't be happier with the price and portion size. I'll be back to try the sandwiches!“

“It was sunny on my 2/25 bday and we were greeted with a sincere, sunny smile by the hostess! Windows open, happy and attentive server, delicious drinks (creative cocktail menu), amazingly tasty cauliflower, great beef twist on lettuce wraps, tacos were loaded with a shrimp! As busy as it was, we were never rushed. Elegance in an upbeat, casual setting. Assorted high and low tables to accommodate anyone. First time for the 4 of us and can't wait to go back!“

“Love the Nordstrom Marketplace Cafe. Their food always tastes so great! Favorite is the chicken meatball penne pasta. I wish I can have it all time. Serves are always pleasant. I literally always eat the marketplace in different states and I never had a disappointment. Glad they always good food and desserts.“
