“I'm a big fan of supporting Mom/Pop establishments. I really like how Lamorinda's pizzas don't seem to be as greasy as chain restaurants. Their crust is thin, and crunchy but is able to hold a decent amount of toppings without getting soggy. The fact that they offer a gluten free crust makes eating out with diet restricted friends just a little easier. 100% recommend their food and service here.“

“I’ll give it 4.5 stars. It’s a chain sandwich spot. Bread was solid. Sandwich was good and hit the spot, but it’s not earth shattering. Staff was courteous. Come here for a solid sandwich. It feels very corporate-sandwich-shop-ish inside so I ate and left. I was wondering how this place earned 4.9 stars and found the note on the tables where they offer a free gift for a review. I am personally not a fan of that, so I wanted to share. Overall a solid chain sandwich spot.“

“Don’t be fooled by the outside of this place. It’s in a strip mall, but the food is DELICIOUS. Super fresh ingredients and loved the flavors. I had the Chicken Tikka Sandwich and my wife had the Reuben Sandwich, both were super delicious. Pasta salad had blueberries, beets and other yummy ingredients and was great too. “I found my new local favorite. The pizza here is exceptional. Sauce is tangy but not too sweet. The crust is thin and cooked perfectly. The toppings are fresh and flavorful. And the slices are fat. The deserts are good, tried Sicilian canoli for the first time and enjoy it. The best part about the pizza is that it Isn't greasy. And the bottom of the pizza doesn't get all soggy. I really enjoyed the food. Definitely coming back as it's now one of my top 5 pizza spots“

“This is a great find. The food is good, the servers are friendly and the service is quick. I just think the design is wrong. They have a lot of large booths that probably seat 8 people. It makes me very uncomfortable to take one of those tables when I'm out for breakfast by myself.“

“Stopped by for lunch as I have heard and read so many good things about it. I walked into a clean place, with very kind and attentive workers. The menu has a good variety of things to choose from for lunch. I had the hot link sandwich minus onions and it was exactly how I love it!!! I also had the Italian wedding soup which was very flavorful and delicious! I will be back to try the chicken poblano soup, because I’m sure it is just as amazing as my lunch was today! “We ordered the pad thai, seafood pad thai, banh mi, and panang curry. The curry is one of the best Ive tried, it was insanely good, very well seasoned without tasting like they just used a bunch of MSG. Its a large portion as well so easily shared between two people with some rice. The banh mi (pork) was also REALLY good, super tender and succulent meat in between fresh crunchy bread. Very fairly priced for how big the sandwich is as well. Now the pad thai was pretty good. Nothing special but not bad at all, you would never be disappointed ordering pad thai here. We did have an issue with our seafood pad thai, however. First, it didn't taste as well seasoned as our regular pad thai and, second, the squid tasted a bit off. We were displeased as the regular pad thai was really good so we expected this to be on par or even better (especially since the seafood version is marked up quite a bit) but we probably wont try that again. My reason for leaving this review though was their incredible customer service. When i brought our issue to the lady's attention we had ordered with, she immediately took care of us. Didn't question if "our taste was off" or anything weird. She was very kind had zero issue with making things right as some restaurants often due. My family and i cant wait to come back! P.S. don't let the "little hole in the wall" vibe fool you. Personally i dont care about aesthetic or ambiance, the food is what matters and this place is one of the best we've tried in contra costa.“

“5 stars! I love this location. They have also been so great especially when it comes with delivery. I live a few blocks away and they deliver at a timely matter. The other day, there was an app glitch. Apparently my pizza (which I always order the same every time) had the wrong added topping. I called and they fixed it right away. Either way, if you are planning on having a kids or gathering party at the franchise, it is a MUST! The staff is kind and the managers are great and they all car! Also if you order delivery, I suggest to tip the driver separately, especially since they are delivering for you! Don't miss out and come have their pizza!“

“Greatest pizza in East Bay since Tony closed his pizza shop Pyzano's in Castro Valley in 2008 or so. So worth a drive over, edges out the other spots like Bronco Billy's or Porky's if you know good East Bay pizza spots this place beats them all if you don't want to go all the way out to SF.“

“We walked in and had to wait less than 5 minutes for a table on a Saturday morning! Waitress took our order super quick, was very friendly, checked on coffee levels (haha). Food arrived so quick, I thought at first it must be for a different table! Portion size is incredible! We both ordered omelets and a side of pancakes. We ate half our omelets and less than half the pancakes and we were stuffed. Typical diner noise, but not loud enough to not have a conversation. Will be back again!“

“Heavenly bistro is kind of a hole in the wall type of place nestled in a strip mall with some non-food shops like a nail place. I arrived around 930a on a Friday morning and there were around 15 people total inside, a lot of empty tables. It filled up a little more around 1015. However, parking was hard. Lots of groups of friends were dining there-- several groups of young men, and as I entered a group of young women left. Inside the restaurant is interesting. Pop music plays at a medium volume. It's clean but not sparkling clean. The tables are a little sticky. The chairs are a little worse for wear; one wood chair at my table was taped in several places with masking tape. They are storing their excess bread in the dining area, as well as cups, coffee, water, and silverware. It's well organized. The menu is large, and the average price per item is at least $17. I ordered a hot chocolate with almond milk for $4, so they didn't give me whipped cream and instead did a dusting of cinnamon which I thought was a nice little thing to do instead. It was creamy and milk-chocolatey. It arrived steaming hot. I also ordered the california omelette for $18 and asked them to replace the toast with fruit (since I have celiac disease and cannot eat gluten/bread/wheat). I also asked for the sour cream on the side. So far I have modified everything in my order and the waitress is UNFAZED and happy to help. I appreciated that a lot. The omelette took less than ten minutes to come out. The omelette was stuffed full of chicken, spinach, and cheese, with a salsa on top that has a mild kick. It had three slices of avocado. One thing to note is that though they list this as an egg-white-only omelette, it did appear to also have yolk. That doesn't really matter to me but it might matter to others. Everything was just SEASONED. Like everything had flavor. If you're sensitive to spice I'd let them know because there's a very subtle kick to everything. All the fruit they gave me was ripe. In terms of the potatoes, I'm not usually a potato person (controversial I know). But these potatoes were good. They're crispy and really well seasoned, garlicky and stuff. They have a large assortment of jams (orange marmalade, strawberry, blueberry, blackberry). They have a good assortment of hot sauces-- Tabasco, tapatio, and a local californian brand called the pepper plant. The prices are definitely justified in the portions. I was full after eating about half. When I went to pay I realized-- nightmare-- I forgot my entire wallet. I asked if they had Apple Pay and they did, thank goodness. They were gracious and really nice. Was not the best food in the world but the service was nice and the food came fast. Would come back!“

Plus they were a bit more affordable than other places.I usually get the Chicken chop salad which I love. I rarely eat salads but it is really good. “This place seems more of a take out place, than a dine in place to eat and lounge. Inside is small, and not large but there is still seating. The prices here for sushi are fairly inexpensive compared to other sushi restaurants in the bay area. Service is quick, ambience isn't quite there but that's okay. The sushi tasted delicious and I was happy with the prices!“
