“Awesome place to shop! My “go to” produce market for incredibly fresh produce, fruits and dry goods. Great meat and fish market. Superb bakery. Excellent wine shop, And Market Hall pasta shop/main market is simply amazing in SO many ways. Plus, super easy parking and good hours ... important to me and a for real plus. Love this place!!!“
“By far the best coffee in my opinion. Not only do they have the best coffee, but their customer service is absolutely amazing. Olga and the entire team always make sure to treat every customer with nothing but respect and smiles. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure every customer is happy. Must try coffee.“

“This place is offensively good. I’m just gonna say it: that turkey sandwich is perfect. They use Jane the Baker for their loaf, it’s simple and delicious. Something I would never normally order is their Mediterranean bowl but that harissa though and the fried chickpeas and the feta with the tomatoes. Oh yeah, they roast their own coffee beans and make their own smoothies and have a wonderfully curated retail section. I sat there for lunch one day to work and in 45 minutes they had 3 rushes for food. I love the quality stays the same.“
“I like what they offer and they have good info on their products.“
“We discovered Uncommon Grounds at our favorite restaurant on our wedding anniversary many years ago and have been brewing their coffee beans ever since (perhaps 15 years?) and simply love the freshness, flavor and depth of their different coffees.Especially enamored by their decaf coffee as well. We get compliments from all of our guests, every time, without fail.:)“

“I personally love this coffee and drink it every single day. However, the true worth of this coffee and the brand is the staff. Even though the world has been incredibly difficult to work and thrive in, they still work at a high level. Their professionalism and competence can be tasted in each and every cup. Thank you.“

“I usually swing in for a drip coffee, always greeted with a smile by the staff, and the overall atmosphere is chill and welcoming.
When the weekend comes, they always request Jaffa coffee, for a juice and pastry.
Really great spot to visit when in Berkeley.
Kid-friendliness: It’s a very chill vibe, and welcoming.“
“Just tasted their coffee for the first time, and WOW! Had their dark French roast at a restaurant. It was SO good that only had to add a little cream and sugar. I definitely recommend this coffee!!!“

“We’ve got two pour over - Ethiopia and Rwanda. Both had a slightly acidic taste and delicious! The pastry, cinnamon bun, was so good. Soft and not overly sweet. Very tasty. It felt like European-style bread. Despite only two seats available, we still enjoyed our coffee on site. Staff was very friendly.“

“I order my Highwire Coffee online, being that I live in Nevada City. While I love my local Foxhound Coffee, I found that Highwire's 'Bauhaus' coffee is beyond exceptional and I have to have both Bauhaus and my local coffee in order to function properly!😍☕️“

“Temo's Cafe - the place, the people, where you find good coffee, a smile, understandig and, if needed, helping hand. Lamea is an angel...was our angel... long time ago. We never will forget you, Lamea, and your open heart... And your nice, lovely family ... A kiss and a hug from Petra and Anna“

“Espresso based drinks are always on point and delicious. Matcha is also delicious but maybe some baristas don’t know how to make it and sometimes you end up with a matcha drink made with non-sifted matcha so you get surprise matcha dust balls.“

“Costa Rican coffee can't be beat! This place is awesome. Be forewarned, they don't have "drip" ready to go. You can get an espresso drink, you can get cold brew (if you're in a rush) but it's best to allow a few minutes and let them do you a fresh, made to order pour over.
The coffee is superior and the guys behind the counter are very friendly and personable. If you like the idea of supporting a small business instead of a MegaCorp, give this place a try.“

“Coffee is among the best in Noe Valley. Seasonal drinks are on point, and pastries are generally very good. Staff is busy but friendly and pay close attention to detail.
Seating is all outdoors in a pleasant covered parklet on a slow street with minimal traffic which is great. Indoor isn't available, a shame given that there seems to be a seating area inside that they don't use“

“Ritual Coffee Roasters is awesome. Listen, I first heard about them randomly through some passing mention from Adam Savage (formerly of Mythbusters) in one of his YouTube videos. I happened to be on the hunt for better options, so I decided to give them a try. They’re a local coffee shop in San Francisco with 3 or 4 locations, but they do offer their coffee to order and ship. It was VERY good coffee, so even though it’s a little pricey compared to grocery store coffee, I started a small monthly subscription with them. No regrets! I’ve been very happy with their seasonal varieties. Well this month their shipment has disappeared inside the USPS somewhere. I called them to ask if they could help figure it out, and after looking it up and confirming they were lost with no resolution in sight they said no problem they’ll just send a whole new shipment out expedited to me, on them, no charge. If the others do show up, great, keep those bags, too. I know it’s “just coffee” and just a couple bags somewhere, but that kind of responsive, customer-first service isn’t exactly common anymore. Right now I’m subsisting on an old bag of nasty Starbucks French roast and have been eagerly awaiting a package that may never arrive. If you like coffee, DEFINITELY give them a shot. I can recommend them with no reservations!“
“It’s is the best coffee spot in San Francisco overall the Bay Area it’s the highest quality coffee ever and they use no sugar and all ingredients are all organic. Me and all my brother love to go here for not only the great quality of food and coffee, but also a very aesthetically pleasing environment, and very calming and quiet.“

“Love it here, come by a least once a week while waiting for the 45 bus, perfect location for me. Good selection of pastry and breakfast foods and they're always fast. Small/medium seating area with tables inside and benches with small tables along the street outside. I'll choose it over starbucks down the road anytime.“

“I got a vanilla matcha, pretty tasty. Cafe opens up into an atrium which was a bright and quiet place to work, super perfect for what I needed. The wifi worked well (I didn't realize, but was still here after they closed and the wifi was working) and bathrooms were clean.“

“Great tasting coffee and vibes from this little coffee shop! The customer service is spectacular and there is a nice little seating area to stop and have a chat or work a bit. The food also looks great which I have yet to try but one day may grab a pastry. Highly recommend the burnt cinnamon latte or iced blackstrap latte. Delish!!“

“Smooth Coffee. Hung out and had coffee on a relaxing Sunday. I had an iced Americano and did some people watching outside. Easy, friendly experience. Not a far walk from Jack London - it's great to have local options as there are national chains nearby. Visited 7/2024.“
“Came across this place from no where at 18th Street, first time exploring from linea caffe must say for sure do try their tipus chai latte and matcha oat latte..they got uniqueness in taste. Wish they would have sitting arrangements so I could try something else, unfortunately I have to make it to go. Well over all nice caffeine shop in SFO Must visit spot to check out.“

“The atmosphere was quirky, comfortable, and sweet! My coffee and granola and yogurt were tasty. The coffee was on the acidic side for my taste. A few of the berries had molded so I asked for them to be removed and replaced… I feel like these things are pretty par for the course at local cafes though, and I value the experience overall far above the small details. Will definitely come back. ❤️“

“For years I passed by its doors and witnessed its filled tables and busy vibe. Once I was able to come inside, it was quaint, cozy, and the service was simple and sweet. I even ran into a friend from another city working there! Between the small-world-after-all moment and the delicious lunch, I have to say, it was a wonderful treat. I love being by Dolores Park, and if you do too, then come here!“

“This is a beautifully designed Cafe that’s very welcoming! The Horchata latte and almond croissant that I had was absolutely delicious! Only reason why it’s a four-star is because their directional signs aren’t very clear and the bathroom smells really bad!“

“Best espresso of any of the highwire locations I have been too. It is a darker roast than I like, but they have a great recipe so it doesn't get sour or bitter. My only complaint, not enough seats, then again it is in a plant store, not a standalone shop, which leads to some amusing scenarios with entitled people like the scene I saw. So don't wonder far from the stand even if there is a line.
An upper middle class woman took a drink, sipped from it AND THEN ASKED "is this the oat latte for Sarah?" They called out the name of the drink and the person who it was for, CAPPUCCINO FOR JOYCE. Who takes a sip from a drink and then ask if it is yours. They did not apologize, making excuses, and saying oops is not an apology. This after having taken a sip from it. I would have charged her for it if I worked in that stand.
But the baristas there are super nice and friendly, even answering my questions about their espresso ratio etc. would“
