“THIS IS WHERE THE LOCALS GO!We've been coming here for dinner several times a month for almost 15 years. The margaritas specials every Saturday night can’t be beat, and they make a serious margarita! The food is consistently good and the service is great too. It's a comfortable, family run restaurant - unpretentious, clean, friendly, and consistently good.THE FOOD:ProTip: Ask for the secret off-menu potato taco - it is available most of the time and is just incredible! Trust me on this one. They are large and served with chef Juan's delicious special salsa that is perfect for the potato taco!! Our 15 year favorites on the menu are their fish and shrimp tacos, the fajita tostada (I get steak and chicken mixed), is my all time favorite. The Hubs loves the fish and shrimp tacos and the chicken quesadilla. Also, there's always something deliciously different about ranch dressing at a Mexican restaurant, and theirs is delicious! Try the shrimp salad and ask for the tails off... simple and yummy.Gina and Manuel, the owners, are usually on site and working hard to ensure their customers are happy. Their servers are all very kind and genuinely happy to have you there. The whole staff have all become like family to us, and it's clear that the other regulars feel the same way about them too. Chuey will greet you with a warm smile and bring your drinks with a basket of warm chips and a cup of their delicious salsa within minutes of you sitting down. Chuey is seriously the hardest working person I've ever seen - The man never slows down and does a great job of making sure everything is clean and ready for the next customer. If you happen to be there when Chuey sings happy birthday, it is a real treat! After your meal, order a "CANDY SHOT" - you won't be disappointed - they are handmade in several flavors and served in a pretty little glass - a wonderful ending to the meal.DONT SLEEP ON THE SUNDAY CHAMPAGNE BRUNCH! Do yourself a favor and go for their Sunday Champagne Brunch. First off.... Chuey won't let your champagne glass get less than half full, and you'll love the huge selection of delicious buffet options, including an omelete and waffle bar!!GREAT LOCAL EATS!!!Kid-friendliness: This is a family restaurant and kids are welcome. They frequently have large kid's sports dinners or celebrations on one side of the restaurant while leaving the other side open for dining guests.“
“Absolutely love Jack in the Box. It has always been my favorite fast food of all. Love the Jumbo Jacks with cheese, tacos, and egg rolls. This particular Jack-in-the-Box is one of the best. Always clean, maintained, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Tiffany is just awesome, funny, hard-working, and just an overall great employee. Thank you Jack in the Box for a lifetime of good food and good memories. ? ? ?“
“I'm sorry Jack in the box that I didn't leave a review;) but I am now. You guys are in my top three favorites of all time. Here is why, without fail, that you rate highly with me: the variety of food you serve, the freshness and quality of the food you serve, and because you are open 24 hours. I work late, sometimes through the night, so that is a big plus for me. Apple Valley Rd. and Highway 18 in Apple Valley get an extra thumbs up from me because staff is ALWAYS awesome and polite, and never fake while being that way. Which means they enjoy their job, which is a product of great management (in my experience.) So, I apologize for not including a personal review when I left the five stars, because I feel you guys deserve a compliment and hope it makes your day!“
“Ok, I'm not a big fast foodie but every once and awhile I crave onion rings. Usually I'll have them in a restaurant, but recently I was in a rush and I needed a onion ring fix. Jack in the box on Bear Valley in Apple Valley was the stop, and to be honest I had no idea they even offered them. Let me tell you, OMG , they were fresh , hot, and so delicious that's where I'm going for that fix in the future. They were so good I had to park and enjoy them. Good job Jack!!“
“This place is always good. The Carne asada is fire, their Cali burrito is top tier especially with the green sauce. The posole is comforting and tastes like it was made with love!! 10/10. I've dropped most mex places for THIS spot. And they have things for picky kids too. Like quesadillas, taquitos, or even chicken nuggies and fries. Love the workers here and the spot is always clean and cared for .“
“I was looking for something different than the norm. The norm being Molly Brown's, Denny's, Corky's, TNT's Cafe etc... I found this gem online and it has really good reviews. So we went out and tried it out today and it did not disappoint. They offer your typical breakfast plates, like bacon, eggs, hash browns, home potatoes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, French toast and so on. But the cool thing is that they also offer some Mexican favorites like huevos rancheros, burritos, pozole, menudo and then some. They are pretty authentic when it comes to the Mexican food too. I had the huevos rancheros and my lady had the menudo and we loved both plates. We will be coming back to this place really soon.“
“I seldom give 5 stars, but this place has offered me the best seafood soup I ever had since I became a yelper so... here it goes! The place itself features nothing special in itself yet it's very clean. The kitchen is semi opened, you can tell how clean it is and also see that everything is made from scratch to order. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They even gave me some birria consommé sampler when I asked if i could just get a taste of it. The best part: The food! Their chicken meat is such a delish. seasoned to perfection with an after taste of mesquite (I think?), perfectly cooked, some of the best chicken taco I ate but the best.... was the spicy seafood soup. The owner/cook told me she would make it extra spicy for me and that everything was made to order, including the soup broth. She didn't lie and didn't disappoint. The seafood was so fresh and so perfectly cooked (the octopus would literally melt in my mouth), the flavors were so intense yet delicate. Lot of shrimps and large chunks of firm fish. Perfectly seasoned, it reminded me some of the soups I used to eat in south Asia but in a better, more tasteful version with of course a different (Mexican) kick. I think the tortilla is homemade, but I am not 100% sure. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back! PS: seat yourself, pay at the register once you're done. Help yourself with drinks.“
“I am okay with everything at this site overall. There is one person there I could do without with a crabby personality... but at least they are working for a living. ( this person wasn't there my last visit and has nothing to do with my following answers )“
