“Tried the limited edition Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and it was super tasty and not that spicy (thankfully) the sandwich had 2 tenders and some pickles inside. It had lots of flavor and super soft and juicy texture. The fries were also very good, nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The grandma sauce is their signature and quite tasty.“

“Came here this past Wednesday with my parents after hearing great things from a friend about Soonheene and Twozone Chicken. Soonheene actually started in Seoul’s famous Gwangjang Market where they were known for their pancakes, so I was excited to check it out.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Esther (the owner) and her daughter. They both went out of their way to explain the menu and answer all my questions with genuine smiles. That kind of hospitality really sets the tone for a meal.

We ordered the Pork Mungbean Pancake, Rose Tteokbokki (creamy rice cakes with fish cake and sausage), Bibim-Naengmyeon (spicy cold buckwheat noodles), and a whole fried chicken split into two flavors. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasty. For half the chicken, I went with the original but added green onion and their special oriental sauce drizzle. The other half was spicy soy garlic. I’ll admit, I liked the original better. I second-guessed myself when the owner’s daughter mentioned soy garlic was their number one most popular flavor followed by honey butter, but I thought I would be different and try the spicy version. The spice kind of drowned out that garlicky soy flavor, so lesson learned. Next time I am going straight for the soy garlic and honey butter combo.

For drinks, we tried the Korean coffee and cold yuzu drink, both refreshing and a nice complement to the food. By the end of the meal, everything was so good that I even found myself asking about catering their chicken for future events.

The vibe inside is really comfortable with soft K-pop playing in the background. It is just enough for atmosphere but not too loud, so you can talk easily. The only tricky part is parking since it is in a busy plaza with a lot of other restaurants, but at least it is free.

Overall, this was one of the most unique dining experiences we have had recently, made extra special by Esther and her daughter’s hospitality. I love supporting family-owned spots like this, and I will definitely be back to try that famous soy garlic and honey butter chicken next time.“

“The food is delicious, but today they didn't put a pepperoncini on the side of the pizza like they usually do. They also only give one small sauce for 8 large breadsticks. Other than that, the service was quick and staff were friendly and the waiting area was clean. I'd recommend this place for yummy pizza.

Vegetarian options: You can order any of the pizzas without meat and with plenty of veggie options.

Dietary restrictions: You can order pizza without cheese if you don't eat dairy.“

“Delicious fries that are fun and a great snack. They have lots of different cuts of fries and different flavors that you can mix together. The flavors are all really good and add so much taste to the fries. The staff are friendly and prepare the fries quickly.“

“Hands down, some of the best burgers (sliders) I have ever eaten and I am not easy to impress or write many reviews. After eating here I had to write one. I didn’t know what to think when walking up ‘in the alley,’ but the reviews were good so I thought I’d give them a shot. I am glad I did. I got The Hamburguesa and my wife got the Korean sweet and spicy pork. We swapped one to try out the other. Both were delicious. Fries were crispy and spicy mayo pushed them over the top. When I asked if he was the manager, he humbly mentioned that he wasn’t, which only further highlighted how dedicated he is to his role. “This is the sixth time I have been here and I am a regular customer. At first, I was surprised by the fried skewers. I thought it tasted better than some domestic restaurants. The fried potato chips, fried mushrooms, and fried chicken steak were all delicious. I took my friends there one after another. Several times, everyone commented very well on the fried skewers.“

“After 10 years, I finally revisited Hot Wings Café in Pasadena, and I was happily surprised by the experience. The place has been remodeled to a more modern look. Although I felt the previous look had more personality, the new vibe is still great.

My partner and I were warmly greeted by the staff. I'm not sure what other reviewers were referring to when they mentioned poor staff behavior, but our experience on a Sunday evening was the opposite. Our waitress was very friendly, and we noticed other staff members quickly cleaning tables and making sure they were spotless for the next guests. The floor was also clean, adding to the overall pleasant environment.

The wings were slightly smaller than I remembered, but that's expected nowadays in most restaurants. We also got fried zucchini and curly fries, and they were fantastic! Everything tasted amazing. They also provided plenty of napkins and a moist towelette to clean our hands after enjoying the wings.

Overall, Hot Wings Café remains a great spot for delicious wings. Even after a decade, I still enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

“This is the best Krispy Krunchy hands down. I tried them once before via delivery and was impressed by the freshness of the chicken. Don’t get me wrong, most KK’s have really good fried chicken, but this place seems to have been built with chicken sales in mind. Most others are retrofitted into a gas station convenience store that may or may not have the right room and facilities for making their famous fried chicken.

On top of all that, the service here is top notch. From the store clerk up front to the person making chicken. There was a wait for the wings, but otherwise all good.

“I was craving for Korean fried chicken, and happened to be in Alhambra. This was my go to Korean fried chicken place. I ordered via scanning a QR code, which was convenient. I got wings with Secret sauce and Honey Garlic sauce. Service was fast, and servers were friendly. I like the honey garlic the most, and I could not stop eating until I finished all the wings.“

Was there tonite. Ordered the 8 piece meal. Love there chicken , just wish the cole slaw had a little more juice in it. But everything was good. Also , i got there , after the 3 guys that were there ( i had placed my order ) afterwards. But mine was called first
I felt a little bad , but i think they all ordered fish and /or shrimp , so their orders take longer ( making them fresh ) some of the chicken is premade , under the warmer. But still taste great !!! :)“

For 2 people it was a lot of pizza and it's good that they have a half and half option. I'd utilize it to get 2 different pizzas for the size of 1. Prices are pretty good for the quality of ingredients used. Ask for the pouches of cheese and pepper flakes. Just know their pepper flakes are actually spicy so their spicy pepperoni pizza is real spicy.“

“Absolutely amazing. After a disappoint go at the Mancoras peruivian cuisine on main, I found this place in walking distance. Gave it a shot and the chicken is amazing. The #1 recommendation is have is the #1 Chicken sandwich (white or dark meat) it's by far the best chicken sandwich I've had. Easily blowing Raising Canes and all other chicken sandwich establishments out of the park. The balance between each ingredient was spot on and I could easily devour multiple of these in one sitting due to how good it is. 100% recommend this place.

Side note, for any people planning to eat here. Order ahead of time (sometimes it can take 30+ minutes) and avoid the wraps, go for the chicken on the bun instead. It's vastly superior because the wraps seem to be poorly constructed. The wraps seem to be overflowing with sauce which makes the wrap soft and weak so its, hard to hold let alone eat, without it breaking apart in your hands“

“Love the pizza. I wish they would expand their toppings. The one complaint is their online ordering form by Tabit.us is terrible to use. The fields for data entry are too small, and you can’t see if you’ve made an entry error. For example when entering my phone number I accidentally hit one wrong number, and didn’t see it until it went to send the confirmation code to the wrong number. I used the back arrow, and was not able to enter a new phone number. I deleted the whole order, reordered, and it pulled up the wrong phone number again. The only way I was able to place an order was to delete the order AGAIN, log out of the website, log back in, and select NO to Use location? Terrible ordering experience that could easily be fixed with a better form design. It’s not rocket science.“

“This place has some delicious pizza that is on the thicker side and packed with toppings. Each slide is hefty and has the toppings toppling over. The Bambino special has a ton of flavor. They have couple of tables for dining in but I think they mainly do takeout or delivery. The restaurant owner was very friendly and they have a very large selection of different Italian foods.“
